  1. Hmm... let's see... the Si has ground effects, a wing, different wheels and emblems, and a shiny exhaust tip, along with some minor interior trim differences. What does the Cobalt SS Turbo have? Ground effects, a wing, different wheels and emblems, and a shiny exhaust tip, along with some minor interior trim differences. How dare they! :AH-HA_wink:
  2. I took that picture today. He has four of them, not sure where the fourth is, unless one of the guys took it home for the weekend.
  3. These El Caminos are still in daily use by this contractor. Pretty cool, imo:
  4. Kind of a send-off for the October thread. I stumbled across a car show today at a local park, and took some pictures:
  5. Eldorado Toronado Riviera? Cobalt SS Turbo Volt Mini Cooper S?
  6. Maybe they want to keep us in a bit more suspense. After all, they can build as many Bugs Bunnies as necessary... the G8 will be hamstrung by production limits.

  8. Sounds like a bargain, dave. If the mechanicals are good, I'd say go for it.
  9. The performance upgrades are great. The body mods show nothing new. This must be a hastily cobbled together press photo, typical of GM. The new grille mesh sounds different, at least. Still no mention of a spoiler delete option. The wheels in the press photo are old-school. '08 Corvettes and Impala LTZs have a rim similar to the ones on the silver car in silver ss/sc's "police lineup" photo, so I am hoping that will be the production rim. I am also liking the sound of the interior mods, and the availability of white and dark blue this time around.
  10. Yup, that menacing front end would look great on an Impala... or an El Camino. It definitely has an "upscale" feel to it, befitting Chevy's senior sedan.
  11. Excellent write-up. Beautifully made car. What's different and special about the Volt is... I am not an eco-weenie, but I'd drive one, easily. I really hope they can bring this to market with most, if not all, of the concept's promises kept.
  12. Why yes. Yes he does.
  13. Please, please tell me you did not have to bump up against your Av's speed limiter to capture these shots. The horror!
  14. Yup, that's the electronic speed limiter. GM trucks are set at 100, I think, or thereabouts. Fords are set lower... I had heard about this, but found out firsthand on the Northeast Extension of the PA Turnpike. :AH-HA_wink:

    Dodge Fever!

My mom was born in '44, I think her first car was shared with her siblings... a '48 Pontiac, I think it was. They used to drive it through the cow pastures.

    Dodge Fever!

My mom had a triple gold '69 Charger SE with a 318 and a Torqueflite. Check out this super dorky commercial. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UyxFDMpiHbE
  25. The local BPG dealer where I bought my truck has had a black one and a silver one. They look good, imo. I'd like to see a brown one with tan leather.
