  1. Nah, no thanks. You don't understand what I'm talking about. Holden's historically been like a decade behind GMNA in styling, and they still are.
  2. And furthermore, the wheel is turned too far to the left in relation to the radius of the curve.
  3. It's gotta be parked, and jacked up on the right side to simulate the lean of a motosicle into the turn.
  4. I'd love to convert my house to solar. The front of my house faces South. I wouldn't mind the look of the panels since I'd know they're serving a noble purpose. I don't think I could afford to do it though.
  5. I am keenly interested in seeing what develops.
  6. cat sneeze
  7. What I have in mind is a bit more violent than just spanking.
  8. Oh man, I really hope by the time our Alpha Pontiac hits the road it will not be another Aussie rebadge. If GM management really thinks Pontiac does not deserve its own sheetmetal... then maybe the "tick tock" man is right... and I hate to think that about Pontiac, a brand that has meant so much to me, personally.
  9. Well, they modeled the Avalon after his mom on a bike. All he got was my neighbor's car.
  10. dressing Thanks Bob, I don't know!
  11. Before I ordered my Sierra, I was ready to buy a G6 GTP 3.9L/six speed coupe, and I was going to have those chrome trim parts installed in the front end. I haven't seen a G6 in person with those. They look great, imo. '69 light green Riviera, definitely not restored, being driven by what could have been a retired lady schoolteacher.
  12. See, reg? In the picture you posteded, take off the wheels and the ridiculous wing and be lulled into a deeeeep sleeeeep... The Charger's character is in its sheetmetal, not in the add-ons.
  13. "They look kind of European, but European of 10 years ago." smk4565, you've just clarified what I've been trying to say throughout this whole discussion. Thanks.
  14. Sounds fine to me, doesn't seem obtrusive atall.
  15. G8 = flat. Flat, tacked-on Pontiac face. Flat beltline. Flat deck. Flat sides. In other words... flatlined. Charger = authoritative. In-your-face Dodge face. Interesting beltline. Tunneled back glass. Contoured deck. In other words, it's alive.
  16. Certain parts of that front end remind me of an '08 Sable. Everyone seems to be going for the "big tongue" look for their front ends... Audi, VW, this Toyopet, the aforementioned Mercury... blah...
  17. I find the Black Tie radios to be excellent, I really like the one in my truck, and with the redundant controls on the steering wheel, I don't need anything else. My radio has a matte black finish, not shiny. I am not sure I've seen a Black Tie radio with a shiny finish. It's just a radio, people, and a damned good one at that. WHO CARES?
  18. LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE!
  19. Rereading this thread this morning, I think I said what I did in my first post because the 3.6L car is priced higher than what I personally would want to spend for something that looks this anonymous. I wanted to want it, but so far I just don't.
  20. GM should have been to market with Zeta across all their remaining brands except Saturn for the 2007 model year. They are still dragging their feet while Chrysler hit a sweet spot. You guys are right... there is nothing comparable to a Charger available anywhere, even with the G8 coming out. The G8 is timid compared to this car, with or without the Super Bee package, six cylinder or eight.
  21. Korea Korea, Korea, Korea
  22. Poor Vipes. :AH-HA_wink:
  23. The 3.6L car seems awful steep, but then I think the G6 GXP is priced too high as well. The V8 car seems more reasonable.
  24. I wish AWD was available on this sedan. It does look mildly retarded, but the ground effects and big rims also make it look somewhat beefy. Looks like a heck of a value.
  25. Ahhh... that Surf Blue is beautiful. The Charger didn't need many improvements. Is that color available on other Chargers... like maybe the SXT?
