  1. Breaking News: This just in (via email). Dad and stepmom have purchased a gray, 2007 Impala. I'll have to check it out and post the scoop.
  2. I got home the other day after work and fed my neighbor's cat out back on the deck. My neighbor is sitting on his deck, indian style, getting a herr cut from his wife and he says... "hey did you check out our driveway?" I'm like "no, what's up?" "My wife got a new car. She traded the Escape on a Yaris. We're a Toyota family now" (he's the guy who bought the xB I posted about a while back). Sure enough... a black Yaris 3 door is in their driveway. He says to me, "we think you should get one." So now I have to pack up and move. :AH-HA_wink:
  3. Macho dude breaks the equipment: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j3v4AHb3w1c
  4. Ack, I'm too late, the page has been taken down.
  5. I can't wait to hear all about the production version, and to see it... wow.
  6. Wow, soon as I saw the Focus sedan, I thought "Volvo S40", you can really see the sisterhood in that shot.
  7. She holds her lips funny... perhaps she just drank some urine?
  8. Oh come on, everyone's seen countless video clips on the subject... right?

  12. Is it possible "butcher" was Alice's pet name for Samantha? Maybe Samantha was a little bit "butcher" than Alice.
  13. Um well, the rear cove is the area surrounding your taillights, across the decklid using the bumper cover cut line as it meets the decklid as the top of the paint line, and stopping at the line where the decklid turns under, about an inch above the bumper, extend out into the bumper, following the contour up and around to meet the top.. sort of like a second-gen Corvair with its contrasting cove, and the SS Concept sedan. I've always wanted to see a Cobalt cove painted like that... sort of a "bandit mask" look. Lots of sporty cars have used this effect over the years... Mustang Boss 302 is another (and I've seen it done to some new Mustangs). Some Camaros and I think Chevelles have been painted that way, too from the factory. Try photoshopping a pic of your car the way I described and post it, if you get a chance.
  14. All it needs are 2" lowering shackles for the rear end to level it down. Nice!
  15. Very sharp, Nos. Love the headlights! Hey, when are you getting a cool, flat spoiler? When are you getting your rear cove painted black?
  16. I like a lot of NPR progams, but when I hear the bullsh*t Toyota ads, it turns my stomach. I posted about Click n Clack of Car Talk a while back... but then I thought... I don't contribute to NPR (fund drive), or to Toyota by listening, so what harm am I doing?
  17. So far, so good, Mr. Camino. You've used enough black paint to cover TWO Smart Fourtwos, you know this, right?
  18. YAAAAY!!! Every time I see one of these now, I crack up laughing. :AH-HA_wink:
  19. I'm not really feeling this as big news. Lots of pre-teens and young teenagers of both sexes experiment... nothing abnormal here. It is a good way to keep oneself in the limelight, though. Did either of them actually grow up to become lesbians? Not certain, but I don't believe so. For some, these experiences mean much more than to others.
  20. Yeah, the guy is evil incarnate, but it was a good way to put a face on the enemy. To those who opposed his visit: who came out looking better, us or him?

    Dead Dime.

Ouch, that's a shame. I know from lots of experience, the S-10 is a good little truck. Glad to hear you're not badly hurt, Mr. Jacket.

  24. Cool pics, Vipes. I almost feel like I'm back there again.
