  1. Well, at least both of your lawn ornaments are green, they blend in with the grass. :AH-HA_wink: Seriously, just keep on trying, Vipes. You'll get it.
  2. After that fight with Rosie, I don't care for either of them.
  3. Underneath the new Pontiac Tempest?
  4. That's it. I'm selling my truck.
  5. Mightymouse... dude with the Malibu? And razor, what a hoot he was. Entertaining at least. Plum Crazy... his sketches lent more credibility to our art sections. Without him, Viper has no real competition up there.
  6. Really, getting a nob would be a good thing. :AH-HA_wink:
  7. Keep on truckin' in your Malibu, sir, and welcome to C&G, the car looks good. From what I remember, the Malibu earned some quality awards. Strangely, I don't remember the Intrepid or Millenia doing any such thing. :AH-HA_wink:
  8. Oh dear.
  9. Someone else here was hit from behind and their seat broke. I think it was RBB in his yellow Mazda. It is a relatively common occurence. Anyone with experience can see the seat recliner and/or seatback frame is broken. No worries there as far as anyone accusing you of driving with a gangsta lean. I don't get into the injury part of car accidents at all, so nothing to add there. Hopefully you will get a good price for the car so you can get something else decent. Don't seem to eager to settle. Let us know what the estimator says about the car.
  10. As far as I know, VW is still the best selling brand in Europe, and unless the Astra has taken over for the year, the Golf is still the best selling car over there. Or am I dreaming?
  11. Dodgefan, ack. If the damage were all higher than the bumper, there may have been a chance, but looking at the photos, it looks totalled. It hit the bumper, which is attached to the frame rails. First thing I'd do is empty the trunk and look at the trunk floor, and look under the car at the left side frame rail for kinks. Even if it didn't damage a rail, the quarter panel, decklid and rear body panel could be enough to send it over the line.
  12. A gorgeous car. Is the car in the photos the same car in the article? If so... why on earth change the colors of a one-off?
  13. I have loved VWs for their wonderful driving feel, their solid bodies, and spunky engines. I have owned 4 so far. By far, my favorite was an '00 GTI 1.8t. What a wonderful little car that was. I have been a vocal critic of VW's march upmarket since it began. VWs used to be classless, meaning they appealed to everyone, regardless of income level. But they have abandoned the very market they thrived in, moving into Audi territory... an obvious mistake. I hope they can improve things. Their diesel engines have always been great. We need a wholesale return to diesel availability here in the U.S., and we need more affordable cars throughout the lineup... which I feel should be limited to Beetle, Rabbit, Jetta, Passat and Tiguan. Maybe slot a smaller car below the Rabbit.
  14. Another vote for Can't Buy Me Love... The Beatles, yeah, baby!
  15. I have no idear what Mr. Fly is talking abote. I've always been innocent as the driven snow. We've missed you, stace. Please don't be a strangler! Uh, I mean stranger!
  16. funny
  17. Oh I love that roof treatment. The delicate chrome pillars at dashing angles, all that glass (or plexiglass?), it really lends an air of lightness to the car.
  18. :AH-HA_wink: Mr. Terraplane is ok in my book.
  19. Dodge Rampage (rampage? yahright) and Plymouth Scamp (a more fitting name). I think their only competition was the VW Rabbit pickup. There used to be a Diesel Rabbit pickup running around Easton, MD in perfect shape with twin exhaust stacks!
  20. Oh quite a few of the Latin folk around here love their Chrysler minivans, and they love their rims. We have lots of pimped-out Caravans around these parts.

    F**k!

Ew no Dodgefan, I wasn't advocating you and your gf make love right there along the road with a flat tire. My "hot, monkey sex" comment was in response to Sly's MJ/Bubbles comment. Bubbles was his chimp, if you recall.
