  1. Thanks for really showing your colors in your 1:08 pm post, Bob. I don't have to say another word.
  2. I agree with some of the negative opinions posted here. It looks tiny compared to the current VUE... it looks foreign... it looks high and narrow. I think they have too much of a leap in size between this and the OUTLOOK. A miniature OUTLOOK would have been a better evolution of the first-gen VUE, styling-wise. I actually prefer the current VUE to this, although I am aware this has many functional improvements. I suppose it will grow on me... but for now, the bloom is off the rose.
  3. These mechanisms are very complex, no matter what emblem's on the grille.
  4. Jeez, is that all you think about? Mennonite
  5. The rims on that old Ute would look great on an El Camino.
  6. Using the example of the special-edition Chargers isn't entirely fair. Yes, the colors are wild, but an "everyday" Charger R/T in any number of RPO colors looks very serious. Hanging a pair of bumpers, Ram Air hood, quad exhaust tips and big rims on a plain vanilla VE body doesn't go far enough, imo. There is zero drama in the sheetmetal... all the drama is in the plastic add-on parts. Ho hum, I say.
  7. Sounds awesome. That would be the color/trim level I'd choose if I were buying an Aura. Can't wait for the pics.
  8. So Bobby, you always seem to find something "wrong" with women. What's your story?
  9. cling-free
  10. That's a sweet little imp. I like it. It'd be cool as a 3-door.
  11. Except for that face and maybe the wheels, the G8 is a forgetable design. Charger is brawny and strong from bumper to bumper. G8 wins in interior design and the Chevy smallblock is the best V8 engine out there... but for exterior looks, Charger has the larger cajones. G8's bodyshell is just too "Mr. Rogers".
  12. Yeah, Custom. What's wrong wif you? Is this a step toward weakening the UAW? And if it is, will GM and Ford be able to level their benefits with this "new" Chrysler?
  13. But more of a chance of being fouled by spilled drink.
  14. Ugh... maybe it's for the pathetic Nascar Toy fans.
  15. *bracing for Sixty8's reaction to Fly's photo*
  16. She'll have her snorkel on in like 2 seconds. Kidding, that's horrible. So reg, you think "roo mate love" happens to all college freshmen just because it happened to you, or what? :AH-HA_wink:
  17. Look out, architect nerd dude! Reg has his eye on you! Is anything safe from The Love Bomb, aka regfootball? :AH-HA_wink:
  18. Wildmanjoe, scoring points!
  19. levee nah griffon, it rhymes with "trauma" and I wanted to change direction
  20. If the kids were seniors, that's one thing, but these kids are 12 years old, and this is an R rated movie. You must be 17? It's also one of my favorite movies ever. I saw it 4 times in the theater (3 times more than any other movie)... but I saw it as an adult. The little girl is most likely less scarred by seeing the movie than her grandfather is... grandpa has dollar signs in his eyes... he is making it worse for his granddaughter. I am wondering what context the teacher was thinking in when she decided to show this movie to such young people. She is in the wrong. Grandpa is in the wrong, for making an explosion of this. Based on the information presented, I think the teacher should be disciplined, at least, and grandpa should just shut up.
  21. What did you do for your mamma on her special day? My mom wanted to go to Easton, MD (where I used to live) for lunch, including some locally famous cream of crab soup. Then we took the short trek to St. Michaels, MD, to another locally famous spot for some ice cream. She said she had a great day, which was good. I thought of something funny on the way home after dropping her off though... both places are gay-owned.
  22. Custom-S, I will have you know I am going to be featured on a very special episode of "Pimp My Walker"... watch for it! :AH-HA_wink: Bob, you poor thing... even I went to my Senior Prom with a lucky young lady.
  23. Bahamas
  24. Well, I didn't speak directly to the person who traded the Toyota for the Ford, but I can infer there were some thing disliked about the FJ, otherwise she would have bought it or leased another one. Toyota likes to boast that a conquest customer of theirs is a customer for life. I will use the vocabulary word of the week here at C&G in response to that: HOGWASH!
  25. How's your head this morning, reg?
