  1. Congratulations to Jeff Gordon. It's also entertaining to see Toyota continue to finish pretty far back in the pack.
  2. Depends
  3. Oldsmoboi and Custom-S, what are you talking about?
  4. Most of the time. I was walking around with Camino, and I didn't want to embarrass him, but there were some human pieces of eye candy walking around... with and without shirts. As always... some people should just keep their shirts on, though.
  5. Because I don't feel "old".
  6. I am reminded of an old truism: What's the difference between a porcupine and a BMW? On the BMW, the pricks are on the inside. :AH-HA_wink: When I worked for my previous employer, one of our lines was BMW, and I have to tell you in all honesty, BMW customers were some of the most insufferable, pompous a-holes I've ever dealt with. And I know there were a huge amount of repairs done after the vehicles were out of warranty that the dealership ate just to keep the a-holes happy. Not sure how much of that was passed along to BMW.
  7. Turbo, I live with a GMT900 Sierra every day, and I can attest to the fact everything fits, operates and feels first-rate to me. You're wrong.
  8. One of the highlights of the car hobby for me is the Ocean City, MD Spring cruise-in. It is a spectacular event, a Spring break-out of every kind of hot rod, muscle car, and everything in between automotive. I just reserved a room at the Rehoboth Beach Guest House (closest I could get to OC, everything's full there by now), so I'm set. I'm wondering if anyone from C&G is planning on going, maybe we can meet up. Here's a link: http://www.specialeventpro.com/cruisin.php
  9. Yes, there were things wrong with the GTO and GM's presentation of it to the market, but if Camino says it's the finest GM car he's ever owned, I have to defer to that. My issue has only ever been with styling anyway. It's not like I could have afforded one, so the price didn't affect me (although with all the discounts, I could have maybe, but insurance would have been high, no doubt.)
  10. It would be nice if you could get a good junkyard engine for it so you could sell it or something other than kill grass with it.
  11. Mr. Trees: oh man, sorry to have missed you, sir. As your pictures attest, there were so many really nice C10s there, and their prices were HIGH. The Buick GSXs were looking good, too, and looking in the background of one of your pictures, that outrageous, lifted, orange and black Chevy truck with the diamondplate flatbed... pure evil. And Camino, dammit, bad timing on my part. I must have just peeled off when you met GM Rules and got to see his sweet black Cutlass. So, did you call that guy with the '77 El Camino? *good hood*good hood* :AH-HA_wink:
  12. Rosie Palmer
  13. There was so much to see, we didn't know which way to turn.
  14. "An old dude like 40 something plus"... I have a real problem with that. :AH-HA_wink:
  15. You've got it looking really good, Vipes. I know it's hard to keep it that way in your neck of the woods. I've been there, I could never keep any of my vehicles clean on the farm.
  16. Cool vid, Custom-S. That little Beat looks hot, rolling.
  17. cover
  18. fender
  19. Well, be prepared to get to know your service advisor very well, if you decide on the BMW. :AH-HA_wink:
  20. Mini
  21. :AH-HA_wink: I thought you might say that. That's cool though.
  22. Nope, I still have both of mine. Wanna see? :AH-HA_wink:
  23. I don't even want to tell you guys what popped into my head the second I saw the '59 fin photo. :AH-HA_wink:
  24. union suit
  25. Um, thanks (?) Fitty-Nine. :AH-HA_wink: Had a great time today. I am officially a redneck, *ouch*, sunburn. Met up with Camino, great guy. If anyone else was there, sorry we missed you. It would have been nice to meet a few more C&Gers.
