  1. Mr. GMTG74: all this time, I thought it was because I like to pump my own gas. :AH-HA_wink:

Agreed. Drew, the dark hair really suits your complection.
  3. Is it at all possible this is a ploy by Toyota to gain more American sympathy? Are they sandbagging? Or are they just incompetent? We've all read about how "humble" (bull$h!) they are.
  4. That looks hella hot. I can't wait to see this in person. How long will I keep my Sierra?
  5. Great story, as always. I think someone posted this here before, or linked to it.
  6. Before we go damning the car, maybe a diagnosis is in order. Lots of things could cause its symptoms, including bad gas. I've seen J-cars go up to and over 200k miles. Yes, it could be a GM problem, but outside forces could be working against it as well.
  7. Nobody can keep a Chevy truck down for long. Keep on Truckin'.
  8. Trying to keep your hair going as long as that Regal, Bob? :AH-HA_wink:
  9. OK, I will dredge this topic up again, closer to the time. Maybe all of us who are going to be in the area can meet up and check out some vehicles. I can't wait.

This has become almost as annoying as trying to deal with Spanish speakers in my office. There is no point to it. If you want to converse in private, use the PM feature, otherwise, why take up space here on the forums in foreign language comments that almost no one can understand. Very pointless.
  11. Doesn't hold a candle to the concept H3t. Way too long and stupid.
  12. This is really getting old now.
  13. Beards are so itchy, ugh, they get on my nerves. I went through a hippy phase in the early 90's, grew my hair long and grew a beard. Since then I've been clean shaven except for the occasional, temporary goatee.

  15. Got your post card today. Nice pair!
  16. bullet: ---------==> ---- :AH-HA_wink:
  17. I started getting gray hairs at age 18. They say male pattern baldness is inherited from a boy's mother's side of the family, but in my case, the opposite was true. My hair is like my paternal grandfather, as he was prematurely gray... my maternal grandfather was bald by age 25. So I'm glad I didn't take after him.

    Love is in the air.
  20. Oh nooooo, two gray hairs. What is this world coming to?
  21. Noooo, I mean cruisin' the old fashioned way, in cars and trucks. Not that annoying, scary "stare" from that 65 year old dude in the mall bathroom. :AH-HA_wink:
  22. No no no, Custom-S. You misunderstand. I am trying to sway you away from becoming a BMW customer. I am not saying you're any of those things. Is it working? :AH-HA_wink: Seriously, yes, there are some true enthusiasts left out there who aspire to and buy a BMW for the driving experience. But when it becomes an "image" thing, where the buyer has no intention of driving the car the way the manufacturer intended, then it changes. The "image" of the BMW driver has morphed from enthusiast to a-hole, by and large, and I hope BMW doesn't lose sight of their stated mission to please these poseurs. They've become tainted. I do know that, like most European cars, they require the customer to "trade" something to get that nice driving feel, hence my "familiar service advisor" comments. I am not an expert, I worked in the bodyshop, not the service department (although I dealt with service advisors over there fairly often when we had to coordinate repairs between the departments). I did have to deal with it first hand as a customer with each of my 4 VW's, though.
  23. Maybe at the All-GM Nationals, z and some others can come. Nice to hear your dad found a set of Rallys for the Monte. They should look great on there.
  24. So you were there on Friday then, z? Isn't that place huge?
  25. I prefer canvas, and wish the Pontiac G6 wore a ragtop. Notice Benz' new Ocean Drive concept has a canvas top.
