  1. But Acadia and Enclave don't look anything alike...
  2. When was this drawn up? It very much reminds me of the child of a boattail Riviera and the original Tucker.
  3. Just a reminder: if the Green Zone can be penetrated, I think a ragtag team of explosive experts gleaned from C&G members can blow the gate, know what I'm sayin'?

  9. Right, like Lexus is not the KING of copycats... good lord...
  10. Sunday, SUNDAY, SUNDAY! Come to the outskirts of Wilmington, DE to see the match race of the decade! Two Ponchos, mano e mano... Camino's GTO v. Custom-S' GXP! Place your bets and come to watch this thrilling spectacle! :AH-HA_wink:
  11. I just thought of something... if it is true that American Buicks will be identical to their Chinese counterparts...how can GM justify having TWO Australian clones in the same showroom (PA/G8)? Yeah, one is SWB, one LWB... but they are pretty darn close, otherwise.
  12. Let's see it with the door closed! I need to see a 3/4 front and rear view... and an interior view! Oh man... this is exciting. Let's see it with conventional doors in production with a 3.6L turbo V6 and six speed manumatic transmission... and RWD/AWD, of course!
  13. boob job
  14. Well, believe me, I am certainly not going to laugh in anyone's face if all of my complaining turns out to be justified. I will cry like a baby, because if the G8 does not succeed, I have a real fear for Pontiac's future. There are so many good things about the car, so many improvements over the Monaro (6 cylinder availability, sedan bodystyle, DOT compliant structure without band-aids, lower starting price), I just cannot get over the styling, which I feel does not justify the brand.
  15. That's what I was thinking later. But as I was doing it, it was like kid-in-candy-store. I was actually polite and professional throughout the rest of the conversation, and I told him I appreciated his help.
  16. Beautiful pictures, Mustang.

    Uh... ooook

I am guilty of eating at McDonald's this evening on the way home. Some McDonald's have newspaper boxes in the drive-thru lane for breakfast customers, painted in McD's colors. I'm sitting there gorging on my 100% pure beef 1/4 pounder... when this chick drives up in a minivan, rolls down her window... and starts talking to the newspaper box like she's trying to order her food... I was like...
  18. *raises hand* Part-time pants wearer here.
  19. We have a Prius in the shop with over $7k in front end damages. We needed to order some fairly obscure parts for it, and things were sort of slow today for drive-in estimates, so I took the damaged parts down to the local dealer to help out their parts guys. While I was there I had a service question our technician wanted me to ask, so I stopped by the service counter: "Hello, I work at "" in the bodyshop, and we have a Toyota... oh, what model is it... the golf cart one? PRIUS! That's it. We need to know the cooling system capacity so we can make sure everything's right when our customer picks it up. Can you help me with that?" "Uh... sure sir, let me look that up here in my system." "Thanks, we don't want our customer to be out on the course and have his cart fail him." "Uh... right." Am I a bad man?
  20. A stupid silver Prius with a "5.7 Liter HEMI Magnum" emblem on the hatchlid.

  24. From what I've seen in the British enthusiast press in particular, Vauxhall/Opel doesn't get the most glowing product reviews in comparison tests, but I guess they're improving a bit. On the other hand, everything I've read (except for the Pontiac rebadge controversy) about VE/Zeta has been positively glowing. Is Opel the engineering center for Delta II? Where is Epsilon II being engineered? Is Gamma a GMDAT project? What car engineering projects are being worked on here in the US? Has GM farmed out all car engineering from the US, leaving us with trucks only? Perhaps I need an education, because I am not familiar with Opel's "greatness". I am more apt to welcome vehicles engineered (not styled) by Holden, based on what I've seen, at least for larger cars. And larger cars are what Americans love most, historically. Delta and Epsilon are important projects for US consumption, but we also desperately need Zeta, in many variations... 2.8L turbo V6, diesel, hybrid, 3.6L and V8... any and all Zeta vehicles are most welcome. The independent spirit at Holden has given the world a great vehicle platform that will be a success in so many areas of the globe. GM is better for that.
  25. I like what's happening at Saturn. They've been sort of an eco-weenie brand, historically. They can continue to fill that niche, but GM also needs to give Chevrolet, Pontiac and Buick some RWD cars for people who prefer something more American in character.
