  1. IMO the Lacrosse, Regal and Enclave are far more compelling than the Verano, and definitely Acura competition.
  2. More likely its for people who cannot afford a Regal. I don't see Honda fans trying the Verano.
  3. Sedan update looks like enough to keep it top in class. Similar theme but much better overall than the previous version. Not a fan of the Accord coupe style or this one. Been a while since I've liked a fwd coupe proportions.
  4. There have got to be some that will prefer the rareness and anachronistic styling elements on the Verano over the room and practicality found on midsize 4 cylinder sedans or the sportiness found in cars like the GTI, Focus ST, Mazdaspeed3 etc.
  5. For better or worse those manufacturers don't have any 24-30K compacts to compete with the Verano? Most compacts in this price range are sport compacts like the GTI etc.
  6. They should have made the antenna on the roof a big blue shark fin style.
  7. Then why the 18" wheels and relatively low profile rubber?
  8. Probably more of an IS250 (softer tuned and smaller car) competitor.
  9. With the nav system and assuming the interior materials are high quality it looks like a decent place to spend time. I like the simple steering wheel. In a lower trim level than pictured it could look cheap though, especially if the radio is a really cheap looking one.
  10. I hope they keep selling and make a sequel to the CC.
  11. I like how low it appears to ride. Not a wheel gap you can take shelter in if you're locked outside during a snowstorm.
  12. I don't think this is a TSX competitor at all.. The Regal is. It does look more luxury than sport, like a baby ES350. Perhaps reviewers will be forgiving of its handling prowess or lack thereof due to the overall luxury over sport look.
  13. Well atleast we got a glimpse of the dark interior. Looks more gray than black but could just be the lighting/camera.
  14. Cool now time to save for a longer lens like the 70-200 F4L IS :-)
  15. Asus has some nice designs.
  16. Astra for comparison
  17. The seats look like they offer very little support for enthusiastic driving, no more than a bread and butter family sedan.
  18. The sooner the chrome rimmed pod gauges theme dies the better IMO. I almost feel like its going to be on the next Vette along with the smiliar radio and steering wheel we see in the Verano. It will be much easier to pass judgement on this car once the pricing is out and the alternate no plood interior scheme is revealed.
  19. I think it was a mistake releasing pics of the tan/plood interior first. It is a polarizing interior and less appealing to the majority of consumers compared to a black/fake or real aluminum one.
  20. Century still sold well last gen did it not? And look (and listen to) how horrid GM interiors were in that era. I think it will be ok but definitely a far cry from an is250. Its really a class of its own, for better or worse because of its wood trim and chrome. You won't find that amount of wood, chrome and tan in a compact Mazda, Ford, Honda, VW etc. Different strokes for different folks.
  21. Exactly.. This car will probably be priced similarly to many midsized family sedans with more room that are cheaper to own but not "quiet tuned", no wood trim, lower end interior materials, and less chrome on the outside.
  22. So I wonder how much it will cost, what cars they feel are its competition, and who it is marketed towards. It does get poor fuel economy for a compact but if its 3300lbs it is about the same weight as the Sonata and other midsize cars.
  23. Good to hear you didn't limit yourself to one make or model, found a car that you all prefer and hopefully get a good deal and car out of it.

    Will it Blend?

Amazing how many hits that channel continues to get. Its getting old. We get it, they make strong blenders.
  25. Congrats, nice vehicle. Wish changing cars often could be in the budget for me too, so much fun.
