  1. Pics of the coupe from the article
  2. Looks like a grown up RAV4. Should do well for them.
  3. I read that differently, meaning out of the Civic lineup the sedan will be the volume model.
  4. Who would want a 2 door? No one with kids.
  5. I like it a lot.. Almost as much as I liked the G6 concept.
  6. 30mpg is nothing to write home about really. How about 35, 40mpg.
  7. Pretty good list though I'd add the RSX-S on their too.. I could take or leave the Mazda6. All nice FWD vehichles for their time.. Cobalt SS is decent but came 5 years late. I didn't think the Eclipses were that great in FWD form. AWD were nice though broke a lot.
  8. It looks slightly less dated now. Still looks too 90's to be relevant in 2006. I'm kind of embarassed for them.
  9. Looting? Since we're used to media idiocy here..
  10. Im those exterior pics looks like a typical small midsize sedan with a caddy badge up front :-(. About as upscale as a Jetta.
  11. I just hope the interiors are sweet!
  12. Its kind of enjoyable hearing people who commute with gas guzzlers complain about the gas pricing though!
  13. The old Impala sure looked less homely after they made the body coloured trim available.

    8th gen civic

Its just allright.. regardless I'm sure its a quality piece, will get very good fuel economy and will sell tonnes. The dash is too weird for my liking. Most economy car dashes are too plain "le ts try to look like what midsize cars looked like 5 years ago" for my liking except the Mazda3. The civic is just huh?
  15. Really how do you know hollywood people haven't been donating to the red cross etc. I would hope some people don't feel the need to advertise their charity.
  16. Are there any other convertibles out there that require you to get out of the car to put the top up or down? Every one I've been in we could close or open it while rolling at parking lot speeds.
  17. I so want a Sky. Here's hoping they shrink the trunk hump in a few years. I couldn't imagine spending that dough then leaving it at home and going up north in something bland as a sedan because I can't fit food and supplies for 2 for a 3 day weekend in the trunk.
  18. For me the big disappointment is the lack of storage space. This is not a car I could take on more than a day trip with the GF :-(. Nor go golfing, to the cottage, etc etc. My ex had a Miata and we easily packed two duffel bags, a small cooler and a tent in the back and had the top down when going away for weekends in the summer. The Solstice seems to have less storage space than a big Harley.
  19. This is the same journalist who waxed poetic about the new Impala a few weeks ago. Sounds like its screaming for a better manual tranny
