  1. The too small for class 16" rims let down the rest of the car.
  2. Oh I hadn't seen a tan version image before, looks pretty good. My impression of the black one was similar, only real nitpick would be the dash top could be a little softer. I do prefer the cockpit style over a more traditional Sonata style.
  3. Congrats.. Just did the pre-winter wax and swapped the winter tires on our 2007.
  4. It really doesn't look deserving of a name change. Just a thorough update. The grill makes me think of of a time warp back to the later 300m's. Still no interior shots??
  5. Having driven one, its not a sports sedan but could classify as sporty. Before we put a sport suspension on it my fiance's TSX was a bit nimbler and tossable with better steering feedback but ultimate grip is similar.

    a 2.5L?

Well even Chuck Norris is lower performance than the Sonata Turbo
  7. Well with the GS specs out now and it still being FWD and having 255hp/295lb ft, I'm feeling like it should be priced like what the 220hp model is. Seems like a lot of cash for a FWD car... TSX or Regal or otherwise. I'd much rather have a RWD or AWD car with a few less options for the same price.
  8. Meh I'll take a mid 90's SC 400
  9. Wow, such a wide residential street as well..
  10. Would be interesting to see the Regal GS compared to established AWD entry lux vehicles like the A4 Quattro, G25/G37x, 328/335xi. The Regal doesn't do much for me in 220hp form at the prices they are asking. Hyundai really isn't trying to compete with these 10K+ more expensive vehicles It seems to get mentioned a lot because of its hp numbers combined with relatively low weight and turbo 4 banger, since v6 FWD sedans are all about as exciting to drive as watching paint dry regardless of manufacturer, I think people are hoping the turbo 4 is the answer.
  11. Would have been interesting to see an Infiniti G25 or G37, RWD or AWD in this comparison
  12. Though I like it quite a bit, I used to think the CC was a bit overpriced. Obviously not in this company.
  13. Well getting stuck with one as a rental won't be quite as annoying I guess.
  14. Looks like they painted the rear quarter panel but got some on the tire.
  15. Interior refresh looks better than what they did with the Charger.
  16. Hopefully the interior is less pigs ear->silk purse and doesn't look anything like the Sebring interior.
  17. Saw this up close and personal today outside the snowboard show.. Only had a minute to check it out as it was being loaded and they freaked out when I stuck my hand in the car (it was running but no one was in it). It does look pretty good though and the wheels were not as offensive as the ones I've seen in pictures. I loved the interior theme however the materials were not very good in some spots.
  18. Definitely weight reduction imo
  19. Would be fine if I never had to look at the side profile. Maybe they could make it easy to enter through the trunk.
  20. Too bad the side profile and sheet metal appears unchanged from the ugly duckling Sebring. Makes me think they should have spent the resources getting the new 200 to market ASAP.
  21. Oh well the Sonata 2.0T SE looks like a pretty good deal at $24K and change in comparison, but also cures cancer and ends famine as well.
  22. I would rather have a turbo 4 but mostly to save weight and allow for better handling. Either way, atleast the Regal has the option.
  23. Wow that is awkward.
  24. Will be interesting to see if it approaches the success of the Sonata in sales figures, in the same ballpark as the Altima/Fusion/Malibu and keeping their momentum going at a ridiculous pace.
  25. Have fun! I know I'll never forget my first time.
