Their nice dogs. Im alittle concerned about that type of "breeder" but wont get all negitive. My first dogs were not the "best bred" dogs in the world but they were a great bunch, a few genetic health problems but they were great friends, workers and pretty fast for Malamutes

I dont judge people for where they came, Im sure there are great people living in Tacoma just the same as there are rotten people living in the places of great claim to fame. Small cars may very well be a necessity in 10 years. Something is going to give, like it did in the 70/80's. Small cars are great but it shouldnt mean they are made cheap. GM is going to need to build a few excellent small, solid, well equiped cars to help get rid of the urban legends. Today is a good time to start. Chevy badges might not be the answer Im looking for. The situation we are in now with gas Im wishing for an old 1900lb Rabbit Diesel with vinyl seats and crank windows............so how far have we really progressed ? It would still cost over 4 dollars a day to get to work. The problem I noticed with some small cars is the front wheel house intrudes into the area one would like to occupy with the left foot, I mean I realize left front tires are somewhat mandatory but perhaps its time to LOOSE the "cab forward" stroke of genious and put some space between the driver and that left front tire. Of course we could always move the front axis forward........and call it axis forward........hey maybe that would be class leading........... <_<

Thats interesting, I went straight from my 91 Regal Limited 2dr. into a Intrigue for a test drive and felt it was less. There was another car on the lot I was more interested in so maybe I didnt give it enough chance. The Intrigue was a car I wanted, to bad that 50th Eighty Eight was there, it just robbed the show. Maybe the Intrigue was heavier than the old Regal and that changed the feeling. I enjoyed my drive in the CXS but that felt like a downgrade from the LSS which it would be naturally. I imagine a G2 Aurora or something really sporty like a GTP or comp G or Bonneville GXP would be our next car. I can see it is going to be hard to downgrade.........so we wont. Thats how I felt looking at the .......ahem........imports.........serious step back for more money...........no thanks!

my apologies for responding to this post but somehow Im not seeing the balance here. Im supposed to relax, but its OK for this little group to continue what they have been up too ? Just look at the turn of events on every product post, where it begins to go sour, the efforts by many to dispell the myths. Yet the focus remains unrelentless that everything is inferior and will not end until we all succomb to the same beliefs that everything GM is inferior. I have not disrespected anyones opinions, however I believe that the opinions of those of us that approve of whatever it may be......is trudged upon quite heavily and very disrespectably. All good is over ridden by whatever little nit picky item could be pulled out for ammo. I have spent some time pointing out these various statements, as have many others. I just want it to stop, enough is enough, we have page after page of the same dark cloud on every topic. Its never a discussion. Its always we are wrong and turned into some kind of arguement even when we have legitamate proof or explainations. they say "dont shoot the messenger".........so dont shoot me, Im sending a message that is getting a bit rediculous and overbearing.

It cant be revolutionary using previous drivetrains and platforms. Its great for the next Buick, I mean wasnt the 00 LeSabre such a disappointment from at least the sheet metal aspect......though I do know people that liked it.....younger car people too......something about having a modern take on old chop top hotrods.......not for me. The revolutionary GII G body was the Aurora.........so how did that go ? I believe it also had all the interior layout appeal most seem to like.......so how did it go ? Someone said something about Caddy having wheel feature and Buick not......this stems to another one of my comments, elsewhere, about coddling divisions and seemingly thinking they need to one up within the corporation.........this will kill divisions in these times. I believe another member has also said the DTS has these better materials, I can only ask......are the materials that much more expensive or is this more coddling ? I think alot of people are going to miss the soft cushyness of the Park Avenue and Regency types or like the NYer's, where you sit in the seats and they form around you...........ahhhhhhh, so nice !

I like telescoping wheels, hell my 64 Alpine had one. I enjoyed it on my buddies C5. Long legs and I put the seat back but I like the wheel closer, so Id use tele, Im sure. I dont care about the lever action GM wheel, works great for me, but ya know........ya gotta keep up with the Jones. It only took me one try to know I didnt want to pull the lever without holding the wheel, sometimes it pays to get left behind. I drive with wheel pretty much down and need to raise it up to get out, its habit and I like it, its fast and handy and works for me.......especially those old two spoke 8:00 - 4:00 wheels

Yea that Honda commercial was stupid but saddest part is many probably were deeply touched by it what about the new one "its hard to ??listen to the engine with you doin all that yackin"........ Mazda isnt it ? These people are selling excitement, enthousiasm with a sence of humor. Acura commercials are really serious arent they? I guess I should pay more attention but after all its commercials we are talking about, they dont play them louder for nothing. Hey Reg, ya never know, swivel bucket seats would be "class leading" I gotta admit, as time goes on Im really finding myself quite interested in a G2 T/top TransAm........Id even grow my hair back..............if it would grow now it just looks more like Taxi Jim when Im over due........ Seriously I would think this Camaro would be convertable ized, though it might suffer torsional rigidity as well as the usual weight gains.

Must be I missed the V8 part, I was thinking base Luzerne 29,999. Then imagining, radio delete, plastic hubcaps, "crank windows" you know what I mean, the car that cant be found on the car lots. Like a few summers ago when looking at CTS, the sticker said base around 28 or 29 but all of 20 some CTS were 31 or better. they even had 2 V's. I believe as a socioty is it time to move beyond the 9.99 mentality Fly - Im not sure what commercial you are refering to but Im serious, I dont see the Acura or toyota or Mazda commercials to be so internally degrading. They promote their product with performance and feature touts when so many, not all of GM's seem to be about expence or somehow lame The commercials I see for the Olympics are interesting and creative but, Im still undecided on whether the're good or not. I really believe the competitions commercials and product promotion are far superior to what GM has done.

Popular Science and Popular Mechanics were always on the end stands at Dads and Grandpas armchair. I only remember McCahills review of the mid 70's Matador coupe, mainly because Dad had one. He mentioned how the car did the perfect 4 wheel drift, neither over or understeering but predictable 4 wheel drift........he was 100% correct, that is how the car handled. His artical on the Porsche 930 turbo was soley responsible for turning my interests from a Cuda and such to European sports cars. While at the same time developing a better midsize conventional car platform......which Im sure they are ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! and tightening up on the exisiting product that is currently on the market.
