Well, Ill tell ya, Hyundia is putting a dent in the dealerships around this area. Hyundias are all over the place. Myself from the outside only, as I have never drivin one or looked one over, that XG30 ? What ever it is taged has the appearence I like in that kind of a car. At any rate they are abundant around these parts. Unfortunantly I believe it is the GM dealerships they are hurting the most. So hows your Korean ?

OK, so lets starts our own publication, where we attack and bash the common media into the ground. Some of the best writers exist right here as far as Im concerned. Then can I please have a small section on the back page where I tear everybody and everything a new sphinkter for no apparent reason. Sadly the sheep would flock to the news stands to get the next ripe issue and we would all retire filthy stinkin rich :P Then I woke up :CG_all:

Ah gee, did ya have to go and do that ? Now I got a funny feeling going on inside, I dont understand it, its affecting my brain, cant concentrate, dont know what I wanna do. Damn you ! ;-) -
Never mocking you, I had one close friend, we could finish each others sentences, do the same thing at the same time without communication, it was kinda strange, we were unseperable until he went in military when I was 16, then I hung out with his older brothers best friend, we were the only two of that "bunch" left around. We are still very close and do family things ect. My first unseperable best friend I pretty much never saw after he went into Air Force. He was one of those that could not balance friends and girlfriend, so it was girlfriend, only. Strange isnt it ? Depression is new to me in the last 5 years or so, so I dont have the answers to that one. I know whats eating me, success is the only way out, so I figure you have to go for success. Correct ?

We've had two dustings, one yesterday, it stuck though because it did not rise above freezing, the sun melted some in the open. I love winter and hate fall, the rain, the grey, the mud, once the ground freezes and the snow covers it the world it a wonerfull wonerfull place. So clean and usually peacefull. In the winter we have some of the most stillest, clearest, sunny days. On the flip side I hated the heat we had this summer, I could not excape it and it would not go away. the much warmer fall has been nice except for the excess rain that turned my world into a mud pit. Im ready for freeze

BTW now that I read it it says that 18% is just leading, where I didnt care to read it last night and just assumed GM was supposed to be closer to 24%. -

I got that Balth, you have a good point. Bri, dang it, now who the heck is Art Bell ? Now I have to go through my day wondering what other AH this AH reminds people off. Im just me, that all, just me. -
and I dont even come here much because theres like 2 four door cars and no forced induction, nothing really inspireing. Not downing the Lacrosse or Lucerne their just not real stimulating to keep me comming around to see whats up. Pictures of Lucerne ? So what, we saw them nearly a year ago. Now its winter  Does anyone know what Im talking about ? I mean Im interested but not captured ? I havent been for years anyhow. The last Riv was exciting, the new cars are but at the same time they are just cars. i dont know ? I suppose if I owned one Id be lovin it. Maybe its because Im getting more back into sportscars again than luxury cars. Please let this Lucerne be a smash hit. Buick needs the revenue !

Oh yea, Balthy, the truck, the truck, I love them things, Stubbys are so cool. My 65 is beat but still one handsome devil. Also Sylv - That Maserati behind the Porsche is my favorite Italian road car, far more photo worthy than another 911, not to put a 911 down but hey we've all seen plenty. That Maserati 3500 I believe it is is very Detriot/American looking with the chrome trim and bezels, pure sex in my eyes. -
Well this is closer to home than you might think, its bugged the hell out of me all day. I was very quiet and had a real hard time paying attention, easily distracted, off on a dream cloud. I wasnt depressed though, very serious and intense as you may guess, worried about the worlds problems, somethings never change  I had problems staying awake in school, in fact I slept through most of it, but thats because I went out the window at night, I guess your on the computer, same thing, thats not hard to figure out. Get to bed, dummy ! I never talked to anyone but my friends, all one of them  I wasnt real real quiet, kinda noisy in gym and wrestling but didnt interact on a personal or friendly level. But I didnt dislike anyone, I liked everyone, I just sat around and laughed at all the clown shows. Some of the girls called me smiley but I never talked to them  , shy . Im just trying to figure this out never mind the babbling. Just painting a picture. I cant evaluate it however, are you sure your depressed or just distracted and maybe overwhelmed with what my best friend and I always called "the meaning of life" we had fun with it though but I dont think we ever figured it out. We had lots of ideas, some down right freaky. Are you sure your depressed or just riding some kind of attitude, like behind a wall, I ask because on here (C&G) sometimes you seem like a clown, when you step out from behind the wall. Walls suck, you keep banging your face into them when you turn around. After awhile your nose gets all swelled up, its just ugly. :AH-HA_wink: There alot harder to tear down than they are to build, Im sure you know that already, Ive built plenty believe me, thats why Im so tired  Well, loose the soda at any rate, thats crap, parents should know better than to fill the frig with that crap. Thats it right there, I drank milk, lots of milk, ice cold milk, a half gallon a day, drove my father crazy. Got milk ? B) Milk makes you happy ? OK, seriously, thing is, this is your job right not, getting on with your life, getting out of school, you have to get out of school. You cant get out of school if you fail or dont show up. Think about that one, school for life ? School for an extra year ? Scarry isnt it ? I can tell you I sure wish I had more discipline in school and less rebel but that was me and I have to live with it. I was made for a higher purpose , yaright ! It takes all kinds Vypes you just need to figure out what that is and get down with it. Then steer it in a positive direction, but use some forsight. Thats much easier today than in my youth, the world was a wide open place back then and we would have never thought it would be where it is today. Today stuff is real serious but awareness is far beyond so there is more tools to work with and knowledge for better forsight. I dont know man, read what Blu and Croc wrote a few more times, they made lots of sence, aside from that all I can say (because its my way) is cut the crap and get down to business, there is alot of life out there in front of you, get ready, get set, go for it ! Damn it ! B)

Building a car that would be a bestseller.
razoredge replied to chrominium steel's topic in The Lounge
Good fun idea Chrome, but Im zapped of my creativity and burnt out on cars from all the BS lately. All I can say is it would indeed have fine chrome door handles, grill, wheels and bumper trim plus highlights on the interior. It would be a three model line, consisting of a large/midsize :P (that was for LA) optionless 5-6 passenger, a smaller personal luxury 2dr coupe once again optionless, and a mid engined two seater targa. All aluminum SC 6's of my design except the sportscar would be turboed. Oh and yea....... B U I C K :AH-HA_wink: would be in chrome with a nice tastefully smaller chrome tri shield in red white and blue. It would be Buick Motor Company, completely and totally devoid of any Generals and I would recieve 3 weeks in the Riviera at end of first year as a sign on bonus, where I would be examining shapely curves to apply to my next prototype that would be called Oldsmobile N-EXT ! Thats all ! :CG_all: -
Yea my 75 & 76 Oldsmobiles are somewhat rustier than my 76 Lancia but I dont find any of it funny.
-
LaNeve: We still haven't made up the business
razoredge replied to avant1963's topic in General Motors
Well I save my bias on Olds, and I wont rehash what or why but, when I heard they were killing Oldsmobile I knew they would not regain the sales loss, I knew they were throwing out the yellow flag, I knew potential GM customers would be wary. I did not know how much trouble GM was actually in, I thought they were just being jerks, which they were, cause it didnt work out. Now today we have all these additional much larger problems and GM has come to a full stop, comparitively. So if they could not give Oldsmobiles away in 00 01 02 & 03 it could also be said today that they can not give any GM's away. Just check the red flag sales :AH-HA_wink: GM aint Rocky, they aint gonna get up from all the pounding and kick butt Perception is everything, they lost face with too many bad decisions, Americas back is turned and they are cheering for the battle in the other ring. So hows your Korean ? tic toc tic toc -
How about Jethro Tull, an intense band with a flute, doesnt get much better than that.
-
come on Vyps, your making me look smart  Cutin school, Id be kickin your butt and it wouldnt be to death either, Id make sure you suffered. Something like toenail removal. Cripes all the stuff you have been reading here, I would think you'd see better than to head down that low road. Your mother and your car are the least of your problems, go to school and pay attention, concentrate, thats how I got out. School is a walk in the park compared to where you are headed and thats commin from experience. Just look around man, and say to yourself "is this what I want "........na, I didnt think so. Depression can be self absorbing, or so I have more recently found out. Get out, go to school and keep busy...studying! The professional stuff I cant offer opinion on but lots of answers are also found inside. The mind is a powerfull tool once you harness it. So whos the boss anyhow ?

opps ! I dont come to Pontiac page much and never even went through the topics but just posted new topic. Didnt mean to double post a topic :-(

Well Direct TV just put XM on the music channels. I actually use them often through the sterio. So anybody have any favorites ? Im only assuming they are titled the same nationally. Ive been listening to Deep Tracks thats been playing some stuff I forgot all about. Right now Pink Floyd from a BBC recording in 1970, wow, I think Im having a flashback. In the early 70's I used to listen to this station that came out of RPI college in Troy NY, those college students always played this more progressive non commercial music and thats what its like listening to this now. It was like the underground back then.

Dude ! There is something wrong with your head ! - - - - - - - - exactly my kind of guy ! Love the Volvo, Scandanavian iron ! As for "royally f**king up a couple Japanese cars for good measure" just let me second that notion :metal:

Grand Am Rolex Series May 27-29 2006 LIME ROCK PARK Lime Rock Park Lakeville, CT We are planning on this weekend, the classics are great and fun and interesting but this is the pros and very serious. Pontiacs battleing it out agianst Lexus, BMW's, Fords, Porsche, it just dont get any better. Think about it :AH-HA_wink: -
Really ? I never knew that. I saw them, way back, they opened for VanHalen for the Unlawful Carnal Knowledge show. I knew I was listening to a new sound, most there at least around me were unimpressed but I knew something was going on and you are right about the vocalist he was, to me anyhow, like one of those old R&B vocalists, gobs of power and soul. He is gone now - correct ?

I understand that carbiz to some degree but just as there was much the UAW workers got I also believe there is no way on earth corporate officers should have ever been able to get to that level of income or compensation. Millions per year, you got to be kidding me. We have people working for 22,000 and others getting millions then we want to point our fingers at those that earn 50,000 like they are the criminals. If you have people around making 2-3-4 hundred thousand your gonna have workers saying hey we want our share. Knowing this, its not hard to see why UAW workers pressed their incomes to the level they obtained. A decent living, too bad the health care, insurance and drug companies had to go and screw that all up isnt it ?......Isnt it ? Once again just as we all know theres fools out there that would jump at the chance to work for 10-12 dollars an hour Im sure there is some great young talent that would be willing to take on management positions for 80-120,000 and most likely with enthousism and results ! As for Miller, isnt this what he does ? Goes from one company to the other and suck it dry and destroy the surrounding communities ? I keep hearing Bethlehem Steel mentioned, yet I know it doesnt exist anymore. I dont see where this man is any kind of success story. Not that I know any details but one thing I do know is much of America is looking like a ghost town and our inner cities where industry once thrived more resemble the characteristics of Irac. Yet we have people making millions for methods of destruction ? Sorry but I just dont think they are that important or any form of great contribution to socioty. Incidently Miller did not inherit anything - he signed on with a what was it? 3 million ? Perhaps they should have shopped around on the global market ?
