  1. Too bad they didn't build a million or so TTAs in '89...
  2. I would still vote F-body as the best platform for this. -Very available and cheap -huge aftermarket/after, aftermarket -proven race capability -proven endurance capability
  3. It could work, but like the Vega, they are too old and hard to find.
  4. The key is that they consider a really wide range of parts to be exempt from the $500 limit because they are considered "safety" items. Good decisions there could dictate the level of success.
  5. Beretta crossed my mind as well...
  6. I see it mostly in the nose...
  7. Not GM, but... http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/cto/1377752548.html
  8. If it is a C&G car, it really needs to be GM. I vote for a 305/5spd. 3rd gen F-bod.
  9. A third-gen Fbod could be a winner...
  10. Personal preference, I guess.
  11. This car still looks so japanese to me...
  12. Precious few. A fair number of the manuals were V6 base model cars. Every once in a while, I find an El Camino factory manual. Strangest one I remember was a Malibu wagon factory manual.
  13. Scrambled eggs!
  14. Small note: The last year for a maual trans in the RWD A/G bodies was '81.
  15. That guy pollutes the gene pool.
  16. <--- Is pondering the idea.
  17. Happy Birthday!
  18. This clown has been smoking paraquat it would seem. The Corvette is excellent, and has been so in each of the recent generations. No one else does what it does as well - period. Best performance for the money on the planet. What more does a sportscar need to be?
  19. Works for me. I'm glad to see ny "Chrysler option" improving. :AH-HA_wink:
  20. Chevy tends to move serious volume with its products, I just don't see a Holden-sourced, niche approach working for Chevy as it did for Pontiac. My guess is that we will not see Chevy Zeta sedan for the general public until it can be sourced from Oshawa. Wouldn't be too surprised to see a non-sedan niche product or two though...
  21. Volume isn't an issue for the law enforcement version, but a civilian Chevy could be.
  22. Wow! What a broad spectrum!
  23. I might have been inclined to say Corsica, if it were a better Corsica. The manual wins!
  24. I don't care for them. My mother had one and I found it to be twitchy to drive, and a bit unstable on the highway. Not awful, but far from rock solid.
