  1. Lazy finance guy at the dealer. They have their "pet" finance options and often don't try real hard.
  2. All of which leads me to believe that it is the people that are the problem, not the cars themselves. I won't be joining the sheep.
  3. Those first two posters were drinking the strong kool-aid.
  4. No tears from me on this one.
  5. understood. But, I can't see anyone at a DMV even realizing that this car is a phantom. It still is a '62 Nova after all. In PA, that's all they would know.
  6. Work will be a huge factor, and is a complete unknown at this point.
  7. At first glance, that seems to be a good part of the state. I want to do some research and visiting as soon as I can.
  8. Seen it, became ill.
  9. Want to be neighbors?
  10. As long as the idoit that hit you is covered, a full, and correct repair should happen at her insurance company's expense. With over $7k as a retail value, it should not be a total.
  11. The less you tell the DMV, the better.
  12. They should go by retail value. I'd call it close. My guess: 4-5k in repairs Ocn will have a better guess.
  13. Sorry to see this, C-spec. Total or not is just a function of cost vs. value. That said, this will be an expensive repair. What's the current book on your car?
  14. That's impressive.
  15. Works for me! :AH-HA_wink:
  16. I should have said 800s rather than 900s, but the same reality applies.
  17. Thanks alot, XP. I haven't narrowed the possibilities yet, but I expect to need to pick your brain as I do. Trivial question: Front license plates? or not? Doesn't seem to be much in the way of public gardens in NH, which is what I'm leaning toward as far as employment goes. Lots of things to think about, but I think the state may be exactly where I want to be.
  18. I think this works for me: http://www.freestateproject.org/nhinfo
  19. Add me to the fan list on that '69. Perfect.
  20. It's hard to total any fullsize 900, the local Chevy store has done quite a few full frame replacements in recent years.
  21. Everything. But start with why you love it.
  22. The more I read about it, the more I like it.
  23. Now we're getting somewhere, thanks.
  24. Well that's helpful.
