Another feather in your cap,Ted - well done! Still, the proportions just look a bit off on these designs (at least the Volt-styled one). Something about the rear quarter that looks wrong, and maybe the ride height. These just look less planted and substantial than the concept to me. They just don't quite sit right.

Took the first small step on this today: my coin collection is no more. I think I'll concentrate on things other than my cars at first.

And you have mine (as does PCS). I just differ with both of you on philosophy, strategy, and priority when it comes to GM. The mediocrity of the current "plan" and the persistence of political decision-making disgusts me. The handling of Pontiac is a microcosm of all that is wrong with GM. -
Unlike the Orlando concept, these have an awkward look.

It's easy to see Hyper, just look back to when these cars were introduced. Cross-reference that with GM press releases during the critical time of initial promotion for these then new models. It becomes obvious quickly. Those cars were actively campaigned against from within. -
You have to have individuals to sell personal luxury coupes to, and all we have left are sheeple.

No, they were victims of GM misconduct and sabotage. They, along with Solstice and Firebird, were the only Pontiacs worth a damn in the last two decades - who's fault is that ? -

Been to this event several times. Just about any RWD Pontiac is represented and revered, the crowd just doesn't care about the FWD junk. But then, those aren't really Pontiacs anyway. -

Just saw a young chick all dressed in black getting something from the trunk of her red 2010 Camaro. With the trunklid open, I spotted a "Jake" logo on the bottom of the lid - made me grin.

My latest favorite is "Bluetool" to refer to the ass with the headset having a loud conversation in public.

The worst car I ever owned was an '86 Ford Escort - pure junk in every way. Like Oldsmoboi's example, the car was given to me - I didn't buy it. It was sort of like being given the flu. It was the only car I have ever owned that I gave away.

The headlight from either a V40 or S40 will do the trick (Model year 2000). It is the driver's side. Please let me know if any of you guys run across such a thing.

Ordered one from Volvo - wrong part and the right one "isn't serviced". They'd be happy to sell me a new headlight though, for $280 ! Can't find any used ones. Aftermarket aren't quite as expensive, but still pricey. What a PITA!

Saw a wrecked G8 on my way to the race car shop this evening. I think it tangled with an Audi, looked like a right front hit with suspension damage. Sitting at an angle just off the road with the flashers on. Bummer.
