  1. It's stuff like this that makes me worry less about Chinese brands invading other markets.
  2. Sounds like fun!
  3. I don't know what it was, but this morning's dew in the grass cleaned it right off.
  4. What whine? I'm looking for a definition for Buick, since it doesn't currently have one. A general statement of where it "slots" doesn't cut it.
  5. Except for Camaro and Corvette. Make the rest of the true performance offerings Pontiac exclusives, and the job is done.
  6. I'm really liking that!
  7. Meh.
  8. Ford has been doing lots of things I find interesting in an academic sort of way. But nothing really grabs me - yet.
  9. That's an awesome thing to do, Satty. You have my respect for that in a big way.
  10. I know you can find it on firehawk.org If I run across it, I'll post-up.
  11. I've thought about that and I'm sure the regs have changed since then. I seem to remember something about the light pattern and possible distortion through the lens/cover. I can't remember the exact details.
  12. I can't find the pic I wanted to show you. :angry2:
  13. This is the same silver car during development: By CaminoLS6
  14. Here's one (still not the best angle): By CaminoLS6
  15. They were too bright or something, I can't remember the specifics. You might like them better in another pic, that angle isn't the best to show off the lights. Gimme a minute and I'll post one.
  16. Satty plays mean dad!
  17. After SLP spent huge money developing the lights, the feds wouldn't approve them. Too bad really Only a few sets exist. And none are on cars.
  18. I didn't want to go there, because youngsters and carbs don't really mix.
  19. I've seen them. Those kits are somewaht ugly, and the lights are too big because they use the stock hood. The Firehawk lights are much more narrow and the hood is a handmade piece that is longer in the front by several inches.
  20. Shoot for old and low mile rather than newer and high mile. Parts get expensive fast.
  21. The silver one is one of the prototype '98 Firehawks. I loved that look!
  22. You have to find the right granny. :AH-HA_wink:
  23. I'd say go on a granny car hunt. -Low miles - Old - probably garaged - well maintained -Cheap
  24. He did say "sporty" as well. So that won't quite do it.
