  1. Recent events have conspired against the idea of taking the 265 - for now. I'll be needing the cash for more boring things.
  2. Better relocate those trees soon, unless you want a forest. As for defecting, the thought crosses my mind daily.
  3. So say you. Which of course, runs counter to current information. But who knows, maybe things will be just as pathetic as you suggest. BTW: Replace that girly-bimmer in your sig with a real BMW.
  4. Hmmm....
  5. You have me confused witn someone else on this one. That stuff is called snirt !
  6. That's just it, I don't know what I'll do with it if I take it. If money in hand wasn't so tight, I would take it in a heartbeat. And I'm still thinking it over as things are.
  7. Haven't run the numbers, but it would have to be from one of those. It came out of a speedboat in the 70s and has been in storage ever since.
  8. With the carbs and intake, likely quite a bit.
  9. No,no. I'm doing the landscape job. And it's not a car, just the engine. It is my option to take the engine, or the cash.
  10. If I want to, I can exchange the minor landscape job I'm doing right now for a Vintage smallblock Chevy. It is a circa 1955/56 265 with the original Carter WCFB dual quads on the original GM dual quad manifold. It needs a rebuild/restoration. I really shouldn't do it, but...
  11. As trees go, crabs are cheap and not worth the dig. BTW: I've been in the real Green Industry since 1985. So trust me on this one. I do like the Craigslist idea though, would be fun to watch. :rotflmao:
  12. Let's hope they take a very close look. Conflict of interest much?
  13. :rotflmao:
  14. I think this thread will be fine where it is. But, I could be wrong.
  15. I'm in favor of just about any freedom-expanding decisions or legislation.
  16. Woof! Hilarious.
  17. So tempting... but I'll let it slide.
  18. Such a sad state of affairs.
  19. Thanks guys. I'll probably just grin and bear it for a while, until all of the scrolling etc. gets on my nerves too much. Then I'll get a bigger monitor.
  20. My pleasure. I have always hated crabapples. Anyone who's worked for me knows that I refer to them as "Crapples".
  21. I have an old Sony 17" that works great. My other issue is that most monitors really hurt my eyes, so I'm betting those cheapies won't cut it.
  22. Screen resolution. The problem I have is that so much internet content requires a resolution that makes a page impossible for me to read on my monitor. Is the answer buying a larger monitor? Its a real PITA.
  23. It's a tough job, a risk, and not worth it for a crabapple. Just buy a new one - much more cost-effective. If the tree were more valuable my answer would be different, but transplanting trees of this size really isn't homeowner-friendly. Get out your chainsaw without guilt, Satty.
