  1. I agree with GM's decision, I don't think Buick and Pontiac sheould ever again have a minivan- I think it dilutes both brands. BPG should only have one minivan anyway and GMC is the natural choice. Saturn should eventually get one as well. Three minivans spread evenly throughout GM's dealer networks makes sense to me. Buick,Pontiac,SAAB,Cadillac, and Hummer should remain tightly focused, and that means no minivans.
  2. Tough decision between Saturn and GMC as both could make a good case. I went with GMC because the single sales channel of B-P-G needs to have a minivan on the sales lot and I don't believe Buick and Pontiac should ever again have a minivan. Additionaly, there is a greater sales potential at B-P-G than at Saturn simply because of the larger dealer network. I do think a minivan needs to be available to Saturn as well.
  3. I have to agree with Fly here, I think method trumps quantity when defining mass-production. Think mass-production vs. coachbuilt and you'll see what I mean.
  4. Hard to tell under all that camo, but I think I'm going to like this one. I already like the grille opening.
  5. I'm not willing to do the research so here's my wild-ass guess. Top to Bottom Bugatti Duesenberg Citroen
  6. Priceless!
  7. My big ol' Jag with a 502 Ramjet , slammed and shod with late model XJR wheels and tires and pre-shock absorber chrome bumpers. :AH-HA_wink:
  8. Fly's is the only one worth keeping and even it has a limited shelf life.
  9. This little factoid warms my heart. LOOK AT MY FREAKIN SIG,GM!
  10. Has to be the Lambo.
  11. That sounds like huge fun, and I'd love to see it happen. I found a Chevelle wagon I'd like to check out, but I can't do a thing about it until at least some of my current cars sell. That's really the main source of my frustrations these days: so much stuff is piling up against a dam that refuses to break, and all I can do is wait for the chance to do the things I want/need to do. I just need a break that gives me the opportunity to put some plans into action.
  12. Thanks again for all of your support everyone, it truly helps.
  13. Thanks Cort,Variance. I'm going to try to get some sleep now.
  14. Thanks everyone, it's been a tough night and reading your messages of support really helps.

    My Dad

He's been suffering with terminal cancer for some time now and tomorrow the hospice care begins. It's going to be a rough time around here for a while and I may not be here so often. I have lots of things to get figured out and will need to be supporting my family in whatever way I can as things progress. I will update you when it makes sense to do so. I consider you folks my friends so I felt I had to post this.
  16. There's only one problem with that theory... ... a production El CaminoSS doesn't exist at this time.
  17. Thanks
  18. I'll shed some more light on this soon. I never meant this thread to take on the life it has, I was just looking for some input to help me see things differently.
  19. Sorry to disappoint, but you are way off.
  20. That Daytona is a very cool car.
  21. Jeep and the original VW Beetle are contenders in this race. EDIT: I don't have the numbers, but I think the Beetle still holds the title.
  22. I'm thinking New Hampshire or Vermont, maybe even upstate NY. I'm not willing to subject myself to Mass. laws and taxes.
  23. If it's being sold to a Buick/GMC dealer, I would expect them to continue the Pontiac franchise as well.
  24. I've spent some time in that state of mind as well,Razor.
  25. I'm thinking more like Chevelle wagon and somewhere in New England.
