  1. Much ado about nothing. It is a sure sign that GM is doing the right thing when the critics start grasping at straws to continue the "GM is inferior" myth.
  2. Hmm... What do you think about that,NOS?
  3. I'll try to dig up the packet I got for the Camaro,Z. At least it should get you to the right part of Chevrolet. I think they call it Past Models services or something like that.
  4. The TTA and the Charger500 really were different models from the cars on which they were based. They differed in fundamental ways from their more pedestrian relatives.
  5. Chevrolet often denies that the records exist, although they do admit that some records are available. You can ask for a package for your car based on the VIN, but usually all they send is generic information for the model year. I did this for a Camaro I once owned. You might have better luck with Corvette information, but it's a longshot.
  6. Thought of this one, but I couldn't remember what they called it. Wasn't there another name for this car?
  7. '68 Dodge Charger 500 It was an early attempt at aero done for NASCAR eligibility. Then the Daytona took it to a new level.
  8. TTA = Turbo Trans Am :AH-HA_wink:
  9. I'd say that you have some investigating and some soul-searching to do. You can't proceed without more information and an honest grip on what you really feel about this.
  10. Unfortunately, this isn't possible for Chevrolets like it is for Pontiac. There were negotiations that should have lead to the creation of a PHS style service for Chevy, but the deal fell apart. The VIN and cowl plate will give you some limited info. but full option codes can't be determined from them. Your best bet is to do a ton of research and look for the telltale clues in the equiptment on the car itself. Bummer about the tank sticker, I wonder if it was a replacement.
  11. I may take you up on that as I've always planned to get into real estate at some point. Thanks.
  12. I would love to do something like this.
  13. I design and build landscapes,Cort.
  14. Sorry to hear that,Mute. I didn't know you had a problem with anyone here, and I think C&G is stronger than ever now so I'm very surprised. Farewell.
  15. Which leads me to Question #2. I find myself unmotivated to continue doing what I'm doing for a living and less than happy about living where I live. So, without getting too detailed, the problem is that I am selling off the cars (in part) because the business demands so much of my time and money. So, I am asking myself why I'm selling off things I love to preserve/grow something I'm tiring of. A business eats your life and it requires that you be enthusiastic and highly motivated to make it work. I'm finding that I just don't feel that way about it anymore. I am thinking about a wholesale change so that my work supports my life instead of the other way around. I've been in this business in one way or another since 1985, so this is not a casual thing.
  16. Thanks for all of the input to this thread, I guess I should start explaining what made me ask the questions in the first place. I'm still working this out in my mind but here are the bones of it. Question #1: I have toyed with the idea of "running light" for years now. Of just getting rid of everything I can possibly part with and being able to just up and go somewhere if the spirit moves me. I am currently tied down to 6 vehicles, a trailer, and an overstuffed house full of junk and a barn full of tools and equiptment. My life simply doesn't fit in small spaces and I have had to be VERY creative in finding a place to live capable of accomodating all of my stuff. The biggest problem is that property values are so insanely high that I have had to find unique places to live which can handle all of the things I need to run my business. Buying property around here is way out of the realm of possibility so I have had to find rentals that offer what I need at reasonable cost. I've been doing this since 1994 and it has gotten old. There are many other motivations for this question but this is a start.

    Rendezvous

The vehicle is an old turd on a dated, outmoded platform that dilutes the Buick brand - may we never see its like again.
  20. Sweet!
