  1. No.
  2. Well I'm still going, I need a good car show to give myself an attitude adjustment.
  3. LOL@OCN: I've thought about doing something like that. Sixty has the story down pretty well. The guy wanted to do a full (and I mean FULL) restoration on the car. I'm sure that I could get the job done eventually, but I've never seen a car with so many parts. No wonder these cars are so heavy. I have to either get rid of it or put it back together as it dominates every shelf in the garage with its parts.
  4. Congrats on the job, Northie. I hope you enjoy it.
  5. I mean, I could restore it or modify it. I'm just tired of looking at it hibernating in the garage.
  6. Isn't happiness legally mandated out there?
  7. Wow OCN! I'm sorry to hear about this. Here's wishing you luck on that second interview.
  8. I would call the Monte Carlo (especially the SS) a given for increased sales. The rest are huge question marks. Some of them would become collectible legends down the road though, regardless of sales.
  9. Oops! I guess I got the car searches mixed-up. Well someone's dad was looking for one and this is what I found. '69 Grand Prix J 350HP 400/400, same owner 23 years, red w/ black top and interior $5,000/OBO Looks very nice in pic
  10. re-bump
  11. People DON'T sit on my cars. At least not more than once. :AH-HA_wink:
  12. Nice find XP, very clean.
  13. Thanks for posting that link Ven, very cool site.
  14. Bump
  15. I used to have an '82 Toronado. One day it was just sitting in the driveway and the window of the driver's door exploded.
  16. These vehicles along with Colrado/Canyon were lousy replacements for the S10 platform. The sizing was a mistake (following a now dead trend), and the diminished capabilities of the Colorado vs. the S10 doomed it from the start. An S10-sized replacement using the no-nonsense formula of the original Nissan Xterra is where I see compact, affordable, BOF suvs making sense.
  17. I agree with OCN, there has been a severe lack of "real" coupes in the market for a very long time. With the exception of the F-body twins and the Mustang, (which are pony cars and really another segment) what has there been to choose from? Just the GTO and high end imports. And no, the FWD cars DO NOT count. I love mid-large RWD coupes but would never touch one of these FWD pretenders. So, for American style mid-large size RWD coupes, there has only been one limited edition model with a 3 year model run since '87-'88. I'd say no one knows what this market could be right now. I do know I'd buy one.
  18. The more I think about this, the more I want to show the Hawk. Anyone know a good place to have a show placard made?
  19. Didn't you say your dad was looking for a '69 Grand Prix? I think I found it.
  20. I never thought too much of these to begin with, they always seemed either too big or too small to me.
  21. I have reason to believe that it is a good thing that you are surprised by the dates you have. :AH-HA_wink:
  22. The upside could be that Pontiac is the one division GM might be able to take risks with. I think they have to.
  23. I must be schizophrenic, I want it to be 1955,1963,1970,1987 and 2007,8,and 9 all at once!
  24. I hate to say it,91z, but I think you are on the outside of a rather tacky inside joke.
