2007 Holden VE SS V
But that was the problem with the GTO according to many: it was too similar to the Monaro and not aggressive enough. If we bring this over here as-is, everyone is going to think it's not aggressive enough compared to the Charger. Agreed. I think the car that it's made from looks better than the Camry to start with, but it's the same idea. Agree about the interior too. There needs to be some black on the dashboard to break up all the orange. The GTO/Monaro did this well when the interior was someting other than black, but I think this is too much.

2007 Holden VE SS V
I think this would make a great starting point for a badly-needed new Grand Prix for Pontiac. Change the fascias, fix the console, and you've got a winner.

2007 Holden Statesman
I think this would make a very nice Buick with different detailing on the sides and different fascias. I also think GM needs to throw out the black-tie radios and bring on the Blaupunkts.

2007 Holden WM Caprice
The outside could use some work, but the inside looks like a great place to be.

HOLDEN COMMODORE UNVEILING

Asking again...how long will the 3800 V6
The next LaCrosse isn't going to be built in Oshawa, as Oshawa 1 and 2 are being combined into one big plant that will produce 500,000+ Zeta vehicles per year.If there is another GP, it will be produced at Oshawa most likely on Zeta, but I'm not positive there is one in the cards.

Surprise - It's the Acadia
But Buick doesn't have anything as huge as the Yukon and XL. The Rainier costs more than the Envoy I believe, so I think that says that Buick is still more upscale.

Asking again...how long will the 3800 V6
I think Paolino is talking about the refresh it's supposed to get with the Super model. However, it's staying on W for that.

Surprise - It's the Acadia
The Acadia and Outlook are too similar from the A-pillar back, but the front ends are different enough and the interiors have totally different personalities. I'm not seeing how 1/4 of the Acadia and Enclave are the same. The share nothing on the exterior, and while they may share the same radio and HVAC units, the interiors as a whole have totally different themes. They share 10% max, unless you want to count the powertrains.

ocnblu: I think Theta would be the same as a shorter Lambda.

Surprise - It's the Acadia
First you say gas prices are going to skyrocket and your hope that it doesn't have much of an impact on the Lambda launches, then you say the Acadia should be AWD-only. However, AWD is much less-fuel efficient, and if gas prices are going to go up even more, then GMC needs to offer the most fuel efficiency they can, meaning FWD for base models.

Any change in G8?
If the G8 is on the shorter Zeta and CTS sized, it will not be full-sized and won't compete against the Buicks.

2006 Chevrolet HHR LT 2.4L
The HHR I drove to the gas station definetly felt a little sluggish, but of course that's coming from someone who drives a GTO every day. It probably would have felt competent if I was still driving the Alero.

Engine alternatives for Cobalt
I think a diesel would jack up the price too far for most buyers. The BAS is probably the best option, though it'd be nice if they just got more mileage out of the new Ecotecs, they're supposed to have 1.8 and 2.0L versions with VVT that make as much power as the 2.2 with better mileage.

Considering a Lucerne
I'm not surprised they didn't want to give you much for the Suburban, no one wants a big used SUV nowadays. Last year sometime the dealer I work for went to an auction and bought 3 '05 (used) Suburbans for $35k each, thinking they would sell. Well, then gas shot up to about $2.60 (which was high then) and the next week they went to the same auction and Suburbans were going for $31k then. Now, a year or so later, they still have at least one of the Suburbans (maybe two?). So, I'm really not surprised that they don't want to give you much, they probably won't be able to sell it for much more than what they give you for it.

Those last two letters are AX, so this true has either the Vortec MAX (my guess) or the Duramax.

I'd like to see the UV8 in the Denali, personally, with the rest of them upgraded to about 290HP with DI.

The Acadia is actually very different from the Outlook, the Outlook looks boring in comparison actually, especially the interior. I will try to do a side-by-side when I get done with all these pictures I'm working on right now and going to post in like 10 minutes.
