  1. I would assume the 3 cyl will show up in the Spark and Sonic eventually.
  2. Probably more like 10-15% of the market in 10 years, I suspect..
  3. Chevy is a global brand. Cars this size sell well now outside the US, and once the new CAFE regs are in place, will sell well in the US...think 5 years from now, not today. The market is evolving. GM can't keep it's head in the sand and keep pushing 6000lb trucks, they have to evolve to meet evolving market conditions..
  4. Oh yeah..I remember him...was delusional. A small 4cyl Chevy sportscar would be cool, like something Kappa based, separate from the Corvette.
  5. Base engines for the next Colorado or downsized Silverado?
  6. Too bad Pontiac isn't still around..the G2 version would bring Excitement!!! to the micro car niche (as it did in Mexico on the previous gen Matiz).
  7. That's what I thought that was...something funny about the steering wheel buttons, though.
  8. The Mark II interior was very simple and understated for it's time..interesting how the gauges were in pod on top of a shelf. Didn't Buick have a similar arrangement around '59-60? As far as exterior design, the Mk II is one of my favorite 50s designs--clean and linear without the overwrought chrome trim that so many cars of the era had.
  9. No pics of the GTO convertible beside the Grand Prix in the first pic?>
  10. Cool...no mention of the CTS..waiting until the NG model?
  11. Your standard negative response. You do comprehend that the electric car market (globally and in the US) is growing...Nissan has the Leaf, Ford is bringing the Focus Electric, why shouldn't GM get in on this market?
  12. Need to the offer a cool SS or ZL1 version...
  13. Because the market shows Americans overwhelmingly prefer vanilla (FWD 4cyl automatic sedans in white or silver).
  14. I love spicy food...you've got to take me to that restaurant, dude. Yeah, I love spicy, forgot to take my Immodium before and after...didn't have any with me and decided to wing it..
  15. I've read there will be an SUV based on the new Colorado called TrailBlazer. No idea if NA will get it.
  16. Tonight, my bowels burn with the heat of 1000 suns. Magma flows... Should not have had Chicken Vindaloo for dinner but it's so damn good.
  17. New platform I assume. Intentional Chevy family resembalance..
  18. Welcome back..good to hear things are going well for you.
  19. Ah...I'm surprised..didn't know that particular driver was from Ohio. Cool. Ah...I'm surprised..didn't know that particular driver was from Ohio. Cool.
  20. I'm embarrased I don't know the answer, being from Ohio and an Indy racing fan. I'm drawing a blank, but I do remember the Talledega record.. will have to do some googling.
  21. Hmmm...Wikipedia says the Super Turbine 300 aka Jetaway was a 2 speed. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Turbine_300 Didn't know GM had 4 speed autos before the '90s.
  22. Those regular cab short bed pickups look sharp. I rarely ever see regular cab trucks anymore.
  23. It's launching in Thailand and Australia first I think, but developed in Brazil I've read. I'm wondering about the dimensions..bigger than the current Colorado but smaller than the Dakota, I think.
  24. I like both the basic and deluxe GM dashes..a materials and switchgear upgrade would have been nice...the basic design is pretty clean compared to the busy Ford design. Of course, time moves slowly in full-size truck land--the Nissan Titan interior is pretty much unchanged from '04 IIRC.
