Nothing... and he compared the truck version wheelbase w an SUV..invalid comparison. The R1S has a 5 inch longer wheelbase than the Tahoe, 2 inches longer than the Durango.

The Rivian R1S SUV outside dimensions are very similar to the Durango. Probably a better size comparison than the Tahoe.

Nice, but way too dark and gloomy.

GMC seems to have a very limited color palette inside and out...interiors in black or dark gray....barf.

At BP stations, gasoline fuel filler nozzles are green.

This Avalanche front plate is nice, a bit pricey.. https://www.etrailer.com/License-Plates-and-Frames/DWD-Plastics/312770.html Now that Ohio no longer requires a front plate, I've thought of getting a Jeep plate for my Jeep...

Since probably no one but auto reviewers is going to be taking a Volvo to a track, having a top speed over 100mph makes little sense outside of Germany...and the days are numbered for the high speed limits in Germany I've read.- 36 replies

Alternative Fuels & Propulsion RANDOM
Robert Hall replied to G. David Felt's topic in Electric Vehicles and Alternative Fuels
I've filled up twice since January. And wasn't below a 1/4 each time. With working from home and self-quarantining, I've had no reason to go out this year except for occasional local trips. Now last year w/ working from home but normal driving, I drove about 6000 miles. 2018 was similar. -
Alternative Fuels & Propulsion RANDOM
Robert Hall replied to G. David Felt's topic in Electric Vehicles and Alternative Fuels
This year so far I've put maybe 350 miles on my Jeep...and I've been working from home for 3+ years, but this year is unusual... quite different from back in the early 00s where I once put 12k miles on my old Jeep in one year. -
I've liked Chipotle for over 20 years, used to go to the original location in Denver. 'Chipotle Friday' (or Thursday) was a tradition at several companies I've worked at over the years...used to go to the one at Scottsdale Rd and Camelback every week for years.

I have a good local taco joint less than a mile from my house..run by a family from San Bernardino, seems like what I remember as authentic So Cal tacos...in NE Ohio.

I liked Del Taco in AZ...maybe more so than Taco Bell..

Suburbans had those in the 80s also....a buddy had an '89 w/ them. I do wonder what the first modern car was with them, though. IIRC, '80s S-Class Mercedes had them in the back of the center console, as many vehicles today do (my '14 Jeep has them, but my '00 didn't). ..but as for a domestic car, no idea. I can't recall if my sister's '00 DTS had them...it had a huge rear seat area, loads of legroom.

Hot August (2020) days or nights of car spotting
Robert Hall replied to trinacriabob's topic in The Lounge
Went to the gas station and car wash today, first time I'd been to either in almost 6 months. Felt strange but almost 'normal'. Saw a dark blue C8 Corvette at the gas station, had a temporary tag and the black rear lower fascia was cracked out and taped in place. -
Yes...Australia, New Zealand, India, any Commonwealth nation or former Commonwealth nation would use British English spellings, I think... And there is aluminum vs aluminium. My favorite is diarrhea vs diarrhoea. I see at daily at work in emails since I work w/ an India team and most of my client's management are based in the Caribbean.

Canada or the UK I suspect.

I can eat them in small quantities. Unlike beets. Beets are no bueno for me.

Ram News: 2021 Ram 1500 TRX Continues FCA's Hellcat Obsession

I'd love to see Chevy bring back the Blazer name for an off-road capable 2dr full size SUV, or as a midsize 2dr SUV based on the Colorado. It's a great name wasted on a generic appliance as it is now, IMO.
