Hell, I can only get about 260 miles to a tank on the CR-V.

BMW built its image on very expensive RWD Volkswagen Jettas without the reliability.

By building a car good enough to sell over seas. With better product they can grow a little in the USA, but they need a global winner to get sales. Which is why they need a flagship car to be taken seriously over seas. You don't sell a flagship in volume. You sell 3-series and C-class size cars in volume... which is what Cadillac has in the ATS.

Thr RWD one; the other one looked just like a restyled Pontiac concept... The FWD one was a restyled Pontiac concept..

Because the development costs to sell either of these in the U.S. are as close to zero as you can get, I say bring them both over, each at different price points obviously.

Plenty of people want electrics. No one wants to pay for them yet.

The M3 made its mark with the I6. No reason not to use it.

Build quality. Fuel economy. Engine options. Interior room.

I'm thinking a set of body color sport mirrors from a Cutlass would do nicely here. The XCS sport mirrors would be too hard to find.

I have to admit that this intrigues me and scares me a bit. I can't see enough of the interior to know if it is a hack job or not and I'd want to change out the wheels entirely. not a fan of the Cadillac fins either. but with the right budget, I'd build something like this with most of the stock brightwork blacked out.

Wow, that is a huge drop in torque with only a minimal drop in horsepower. Really tells you that the torque is all down low.

I have no problem with them building a car for Cadillac and then sharing some of it with lesser cars.

How about 2 door cars with ashtray in the right door and another set on each side in the back with lighters in each one? I have as many or more power ports in my '81 as any modern crossover.
