  1. I'm not sure it would eliminate turbo lag, but it would probably reduce it. It still has momentum to overcome spinning up and down. The faster you want the reaction to be, the more powerful you'd need the electric motor to be. that said: *buys stock in Honeywell.... and Hoover*
  2. Probably a decent little runabout to pick up gently used for not a lot of money
  3. Starting tomorrow, I'm fully back in the saddle. I head to Dallas-Love Field to head home in a couple hours. I still have 11 more trips between now and July 31st, but most are just overnight runs and all low stress.
  4. I believe there is a time when Pauli needs to give back the car he is driving now.
  5. The O2 sensors on the 3900 are different from the Aurora. Power steering line is different... but they all can go. We've had to have them replaced on the CR-V but not the Toronado. Wiring is just wiring....
  6. The Sonic and Cruze have brake hill hold
  7. hard because they're popular? The Cruze Eco would be a great car to run around in.
  8. I'd go with a flex fuel 3900 Lucerne as loaded as I could find and be quite happy.
  9. Did that change the ride?
  10. Hell, a DI Ecotec would be a horsepower boost over my 5.0 liter. I think running a 2.0T from the Regal GS would be sufficient.
  11. Yeah, but if you're going to do that, why not just get a 'Nox or Terrain?
  12. but why tie back up with Isuzu? They already have all of the know-how.
  13. The first generation Civic Hybrid was available with a manual transmission. I've driven it. It operated just like a normal car except that the motor shut off when you were sitting with your foot on the brake. As the GM eAssist operates in the same general way as the Honda IMA, it could technically be equipped with a manual transmission as well. Now, the Prius could not be done with a manual because of the way the transmission blends power from the electric motor and the gasoline engine. The Nissan and Ford hybrids fall into this same camp. In the GM 2-mode hybrid, the actual hybrid parts are inside the automatic transmission, so if you swap out the automatic in that, then there are no more hybrid parts left.
  14. Why would they want Isuzu back? What would it give them that they don't already have?
  15. Here's a question: When are we giving you lessons on how to drive a manual?
  16. There was one of these for sale near Camino the time that I visited when FlyBrian was picking up the LeSabre.
  17. This is where I'll point out that Commodore has not been in the US market.
  18. I'm tired of google invading every part of our lives. Just stick to being a search engine company and stop documenting my every move so you can blast me with advertising.
  19. Nobody liked the styling in the US either. (though the Sable wasn't as bad)
  20. I don't like either of them in standard cab. they look too stumpy.
  21. While that may be true, I can't imagine someone buying a Captiva 3.0 LTZ AWD for $31k as a company vehicle.... and yes, those are available.
