  1. and we've already seen our last new V6 pushrod in a car.
  2. hatchback on anything larger than an Aveo. Malibu Maxx and Mazda6 Hatch are both dead.
  3. Is there a difference in gearing between the manual and the auto? 80mph cruise nets me 25 or 26... 70 nets me 28.
  4. Old Saab 900 with the Jaguar kit like the Rolls kits you could get for the old Beatle.
  5. So far, the only good looking cars I've seen here are the ones I can buy back home.
  6. Thank you MarioBros, that's what I was seeing in my head. In other news, it seems I'm over my jetlag in just one day. Weather here in Germany is simply beautiful.... I'll be posting more pics as time goes on. I hope to stop at the Nurgbergring sometime next week.
  7. 1 million pieces of $h! can't be wrong....
  8. Well... not really.... it's a Skoda..... but being awake for 36 hours and passing this grill/fascia combo certainly made me do a double take.
  9. and I want my fender turn-signal/headlight/highbeam indicators back!! :cussing: :cussing: and a pony
  10. A Nissan that burst into flames?! NO WAY!

His partner just bought a 2007 Lucerne V6 My best friend from highschool who I was staying with when I came out to see you just got himself a new 9-3. Mom has an Aurora, Dad has an F-150
  12. I'll answer for 68. Pillarless hardtop coupe BOF-Pushrod-RWD-Manual For me: I want my car to have a wireless card in it so that I can pull the car into the garage and sync it with my iTunes, download NAV updates, update my contact list, my to do list, and calendar. I should also be able to enter a start and end point into my computer and have that routed by the NAV for me similar to google maps. oh yea... and I want a Dynaflow and a pony.
  13. Pssst. VW.... Not a Phaeton....
  14. It's got game, but it's more refined than the Bonneville and thus might feel slower when in fact it's actually just smoother.
  15. Mom went from a 94 Bonneville to a 2001 Aurora... the best impression I can give you is the Bonneville will feel gutsier and faster, however, the Aurora in reality is the faster one. The Bonneville has the low end grunt of the 3800 where as the Aurora has the smoothness of DOHC. Think of your expectations if you were comparing the Bonneville to say a Lincoln LS V6. Even though it was "only" an Oldsmobile, the Aurora really was more in the Lincoln's class than the Bonneville's. edit: Fuel economy seems to be slightly lower than her Bonneville. She complains about getting 27mpg on the highway because she was spoiled by the 30mpg from the Bonneville.
  16. My mother has the same car with 85,xxx plus miles. Only problem she's had is a leaky power stearing pump hose and the headliner is falling because she left the sunroof open in a rainstorm.
  17. Some of these seem to be Pittsburgh specific as I don't generally encounter this is my travels: Driving 5 under the limit...consistently. Driving on the expressway in bad weather <heavy rain, snow> at the speed limit, then when driving through a tunnel, slowing down when there's been no change in the limit! setting the cruise control for .0001mph faster than the car in front of them, then getting in the left hand lane. I think the feet on the dashboard thing is especially unclassy.
  18. Every fall I take a trip through the mountains of Western PA. Every other year we take my friend's 94 Roadmaster. Even in the hilly terrain we see 25mpg
  19. I think I'd call that a Jetback Sedan, but that's just me.
  20. I'm sure 68 will love the overhang on this one.... Overall, I like the car... but that overhang is definitely a bit much... and I'm not usually fussy about those things...
  21. Borrow your mom's Dodge.
  22. That'll help catch Osama fur sure!
