  1. if you're nice, I'll even give you the password....
  2. they're not?
  3. .
  4. and does what.... other than make lots of noise?
  5. nice father's day present to himself
  6. Here's the rule. You must use features, designs, and components from currently available vehicles. Stuff from out of production cars doesn't count. For example: Crown Cic body with a FWD CVT mated to a VW 4 cylinder TDI. The interior would feature a center gauge console and column shifter.
  7. Satty, maybe you can score an old Buick Dynaflow and convert it to FWD. That would totally rock with a 103 HP Scion that CaddyXLR-V recommended
  8. High expecations of Toyota buyers as opposed to "Eh, what did you expect, it's a Pontiac"
  9. Link Suprisingly...
  10. FWD doesn't mean the car has to have an East West engine. Chas's Passat, the old Chrysler LH bodies, and I'm sure a few others of recent vintage have north-south FWD.
  11. Hydrogen as a fuel is a red herring. from the article:
  12. I don't know who the regional Pontiac manager is, but the regional Cadillac manager is a black, gay male in his late 20s. My partner and I met him at the Lucerne unvieling and at an Escalade presentation.
  13. That is a travisty. If he wanted a true accomplishment, he would have kept it FWD. He took the easy way out while ignoring tradition. Anyone can take a car and make it RWD. He just has a bigger budget than anyone else. not impressed.
  14. Base Dodge Darts, Pontiact Tempests and Ford Granadas aren't exactly the best handling cars out there. The people who buy them are just looking for A 2 B via C transportation... the same people who buy Camries today. These people are not very skilled drivers and need all the help they can get. It's generally easier to get yourself into trouble with RWD than it is with FWD. Sure you'll wreck if you're a total retard <with apologies to Satty>, regardless of if you have FWD, RWD, or AWD. Personally I much rather my grandmother drive FWD. RWD is for the experienced.
  15. that's not saying much.... I do like their "shuttlecraft" look though.
  16. I also recommend you call the regional district manager and recount your story. First, a call would go out to that dealer... and I'm sure you'd get the white glove treatment after a story like that.
  17. Then do what he says and find another dealer. Are you familar with the Pontiac/Olds dealer on Route 8 in Shaler? They are very good, I took my Cutlass convertible to them a few times for service. I'm not sure where in the 'burgh you are, but I can point you in the direction of a few good pontiac dealers.
  18. A Toronado that isn't FWD? That mean's it isn't a Toronado. That makes even less sense then calling this: a Camaro. The whole point of the Toronado was that it was FWD.
  19. they've all probably spun themselves into a tree...
  20. Don't think it hasn't crossed my mind..... :bluecutlass: <--- a pic of me driving my Cutlass Convertible...
  21. I think it's more likely that Sebring owners are replacing their cars. They're tired of driving the same thing Chrysler's built for the past 10 years.
  22. Do we at least get some mid-cycle refreshes?
  23. I should have put what, where?
