Thinking again
At least test drive a CTS with the V6, the 3.6 has been a great engine in a great car. I've had no problems other than a flakey sunroof dial fixed under warrenty. The 3.6 will get you in trouble with the law if you let it.

NG GMT 360 Shelved
There are always going to be exceptions to the rule.... but look at it from GM's perspective. The buyers of the BOF midsize trucks are moving elsewhere. Not just from GM vehicles, other makes also. Why should GM invest in a new Rainier or 9-7x when a Lambda would suit the buyers of either of those vehicles just fine. And seriously, if you're going to drop 40 grand on a Rainier, wouldn't you much rather have an Enclave? GM hasn't said they are canceling the TB or Envoy, they still sell a ton of them. Gm is just taking a wait and see attitude and measuring response to the Lambdas.

For starters, other than the H3, GM doesn't have *anything* that competes directly with the FJ or xTerra. And yes, people will go off road with their 900s, I do in my 800 and so have many others.

A pair of jet skis on a trailer is about 1,000 pounds..... something even a Cobalt can handle. I'm sure the Lambdas will be able to handle it. To put this in perspective, the Terraza can tow 3500 lbs. That's about the size of an 18 foot sport boat. Anything larger than that, and you probably want a 900 over a 360 anyway.

Assuming the 360s are phased out The Lamdas and Thetas cover group 1. This is currently where 98% of the 360 buyers are. I don't think any of them look rugged and offroad like the xTerra, Jeep, or FJ... do you? The H3 covers group 2 The 900s cover group 3 The EXT 360s were about as big as a tahoe anyway... they were really just overlap.

Build the worst car possible.
Here's the rule. You must use features, designs, and components from currently available vehicles. Stuff from out of production cars doesn't count. For example: Crown Cic body with a FWD CVT mated to a VW 4 cylinder TDI. The interior would feature a center gauge console and column shifter.

FWD cars that would have the biggest sales
Satty, maybe you can score an old Buick Dynaflow and convert it to FWD. That would totally rock with a 103 HP Scion that CaddyXLR-V recommended

FWD cars that would have the biggest sales
FWD doesn't mean the car has to have an East West engine. Chas's Passat, the old Chrysler LH bodies, and I'm sure a few others of recent vintage have north-south FWD.

Disrespected at Pontiac dealership
I don't know who the regional Pontiac manager is, but the regional Cadillac manager is a black, gay male in his late 20s. My partner and I met him at the Lucerne unvieling and at an Escalade presentation.

FWD cars that would have the biggest sales
That is a travisty. If he wanted a true accomplishment, he would have kept it FWD. He took the easy way out while ignoring tradition. Anyone can take a car and make it RWD. He just has a bigger budget than anyone else. not impressed.

FWD cars that would have the biggest sales
Base Dodge Darts, Pontiact Tempests and Ford Granadas aren't exactly the best handling cars out there. The people who buy them are just looking for A 2 B via C transportation... the same people who buy Camries today. These people are not very skilled drivers and need all the help they can get. It's generally easier to get yourself into trouble with RWD than it is with FWD. Sure you'll wreck if you're a total retard <with apologies to Satty>, regardless of if you have FWD, RWD, or AWD. Personally I much rather my grandmother drive FWD. RWD is for the experienced.
