  1. $15 buys you an ad-free C&G experience... it doesn't buy you a get out of jail free card when you act silly.
  2. It looks like a Chinese knock-off of a Kia Sorento...
  3. Drew, are you guys trading in the Encore? Not any time soon... just already decided we need to move back up in size next time around. I'm going to eventually sell the Honda and replace it with a truck of some sort
  4. Yeah, I've begged them for that every time I see them.
  5. glad that the more powerful 1.4T will now be available on most trims (probably everything ST and up, but not on base) Even though we probably won't be returning to the Encore when it's time.
  6. I hope that engine makes it into other Chrysler products.. This is also the future platform for Charger/Challenger/300 and Ghibli.
  7. So question then if this is about Citroën's attempt to survive, what do they have to really offer the public that is different than everyone else? Style is Dead on Delivery for me. Interior flow is the same Dead for me. I do not see or read anything that would inspire they are bleeding edge technology above everyone else. So if this is for them to survive, then what are they really offering that is different other than style? What is anyone offering different other than style? Even a Corolla at 7/10ths is more performance than most people can handle these days.
  8. I'm sure they count them... I'm just trying to find access to those counts myself.
  9. The biggest change on this car is in the packaging. While the exterior dimensions are largely unchanged, the interior volume has grown. It feels so much larger inside than the SRX
  10. weight and packaging. The Bolt won't have the performance characteristics of a Tesla. In order for the CT6 to compete, it would need to be within that performance range and the Bolt's battery pack likely wouldn't support that sort of performance.... . and as we all know, if the Cadillac is 0.000001 seconds slower to 60 mph than a competitor's much more powerful car priced $30k more, then SMK will deem it a failure. (Yes I'm trolling SMK... it's my site... bite me)
  11. Aside from the Infotainment system, I really don't see the changes in the interior
  12. The burn-off is generally quarterly. Another feature of the CT6 is the ability to save the battery for later. For example, if you know you're going to be sitting in traffic later, you can activate that feature, drive along on the highway using gasoline, and then flip back into EV mode once you get into the city. I'm interested in what the shifts in this will feel like. It won't be like a CVT, but it won't be like an auto-box either.
  13. I would be quite grateful if you can point me to a source of such information.
  14. The battery is a Volt battery, cut in half, and folded.
  15. This is Citroën's attempt to survive. They need to re-enter new markets. Renault gets it's economies of scale in the US through Nissan.
  16. They need to make as many variants off their existing platforms as possible. They won't sell a huge number of them, but they'll make money on it as nearly all of the parts are on the shelf already.
  17. The ultimate machine to be driven around in?
  18. I hope they separate out the sales numbers They will as they are not considered the same vehicle. In the past the Classic and limited models were always counted separately. I would love to see the new Acadia in the Midnight trim that they just showed the Terrain in. It really changed the tone of the vehicle. It makes the Denali look as tacky as it really is with this years added random chrome. Unfortunately, that isn't true. Take a look at the December 2015 GM sales report. Only one listing for Impala, only one listing for Malibu, only one listing for Cruze. Same goes for February 2016
  19. Just took a quick look at my Buick file, had an article on the '83. What's the advantage of the '85 over the '83… or why did you pick '85? 4-spd trans? Both '83 and '85 have 4-speed autos.... The final year of the E-bodies got some interior "fluffing" and other smaller mechanical enhancements. Also, pretty much any GM vehicle in the '80s is best in its final year on the platform because it took GM that long to get it right. I don't have the articles handy, but Buick was making tweaks to the Turbo 3.8 nearly every year in production in order to improve reliability. Water-boarding??
  20. And Cheers and Gears recommends that it's readers actually read the article they posted before commenting on it. CR recommends avoiding only the early versions of these electric cars. BTW, I'm sure you're really proud!!! ruh roh!!
