  1. Those were a factory option. It was a factory FM/AM/CB radio. All of the E-bodies and K-bodies had them as options I know for sure. I'm fairly certain it was available in nearly all of the B-Bodies and RWD A/G Bodies as well.
  2. 1. Cadillac XTS V-Sport 2. Cadillac ATS-V Coupe 3. Mercedes Benz S-Class with Airmatic 4. Chrysler 300C Hemi Platinum 5. Ram Powerwagon 6. Opel Adam OPC 7. 1966 Oldsmobile Toronado Deluxe
  3. You still have 3 to go. Try again. You lack a wagon and a truck. Golf probably satisfies his wagonish orientation.
  4. I think he got a new job and has a really long commute now. Be careful driving. You're going to be passing through an area expected to get 6" of snow today, it's already started from what I just heard on the radio.
  5. If you're gentle, you'll get in the high 50s in Ohio.
  6. It's not a FWD/RWD thing, it's Audi's choice in tuning. And Airmatic Benzes are not fantastic handlers, though they are my favorite
  7. If you've been waiting for a row your own American Performance Sedan, the Chevrolet SS with 6-speed manual just arrived on Chevrolet's configuration site. Before you try saying "Charger Hellcat", Dodge has said that they won't be building a manual transmission version of that car. In the SS, the 6-speed manual is a no cost option on a car with very few selectable options. In fact, the only other selectable factory options are a $900 sunroof and a $500 full size spare tire. The SS comes standard with leather, Chevrolet's MyLink with 8 inch screen, and Navigation. Selecting the 6-speed manual also changes the rear axle ratio from 3.27 to 3.70, so acceleration from the 415 horsepower / 415 lb-ft torque 6.2 liter V8 should feel even brisker than the slushbox. The rear differential regardless of transmission is a limited slip edition. Click to embiggen If the manual transmission SS sounds like your cup of tea, you better grab one soon. On top of being a limited production model with only about 2,500 units built per year, production is probably not going to extend beyond 2017 when the Holden ceases manufacturing in Australia. 9. I have still yet to drive one in either transmission. They haven't been at any of the 6 events I've been to this year.
  10. Da'f@#k? What the hell are you talking about?! RWD v. FWD has no bearing on ride quality... none at all.
  11. 61k miles and a replacement DX block... Edit: I downloaded most of the pictures from the listing and made a gallery here so that it isn't lost.
  12. And with BMW, where is the money going? There is no radial departure in styling, they've been selling the same 3-series (stylistically) since 1997. They've been selling the same 7-series interior since about '91. Talk about not keeping things fresh.... Mercedes was stuck in a very conservative styling rut there for a good 15 years and only recently has gotten some mojo back (I know some here don't like the new Benzes, but I do) Cadillac doesn't need the kind of budget you are talking about. It's not going to take $6b - $7b a year to build an ATS convertible and CTS convertible and a Q3 competitor. It's not going to take another $1B to build a large mid-size crossover when all the bones already exist in other divisions or within Cadillac itself. It wouldn't even take more than $1B to build a small Z4/SLK like Cadillac roadster on Alpha platform especially with Camaro going on that platform. Cadillac does not operate within a vacuum at GM, they get to pull on the resources of all of GM. And I call on the way Audi counts models. The A6, S6, A6 Avant, A6 Allroad, A5, S5, RS5, A5 Cabriolet, S5 Cabriolet, and RS5 Cabriolet are not 10 models. They are 1 model with various bodystyles and powertrains.
