  1. The Hyundai has the longer warranty, but you'll need it. The Sonic seems to be doing pretty well on reliability. If I were going on a roadtrip, I'd take the Sonic, no contest. Much more comfortable on a trip.
  2. Personal friend/client of mine is on his 4th or 5th Avalon.. one of this generation. He isn't as happy with it as he was with the others. Many complaints about the interior design.
  3. Because it is easier to raise Buick up the food-chain than it is to raise Pontiac. Cadillac is climbing higher and higher, which leaves room for a premium brand like Buick to exist. The only way Pontiac could have survived is if they became a niche player like Mini, but only selling sports cars. The problem is that everyone thinks they build sport sedans anymore... Toyota is even trying to bill the Avalon as a sport sedan..
  4. Thanks guys. I use a lot of Meguiar's stuff on the Toronado, so I'll give that a try on the CR-V
  5. So I have that black plastic cladding on the CR-V. I'd like to find something that will rejuvenate it a bit. Anyone have any product tips?
  6. Few days late... I replaced the headlight housings on the CR-V. The headlight restoration kits weren't cutting it anymore. It took years off the visual age of the car.
  7. couple more years and there will be a FWD Bentley "3-series competitor" on the VW MBQ platform with a starting price of $29,995
  8. I don't bother to coat the windshield with Rainx. The gallon jug of RainX washer fluid only costs $4 and it keeps the treatment on the windshield pretty well, plus I can always re-apply it with the touch of a button.
  9. and its incredible ability to be tuned further.
  10. Just doesn't have the name cache that Denali, King Ranch, and Laramie do. I'm thinking they should have used Scottsdale or Cheyenne instead.
  11. I'd get Bosch Icons and RainX washer fluid, same effect for much cheaper
  12. Hello and welcome. We have at least two other posters from Portugal I believe!
  13. Or get a Google Device with Google Software and it all works, no muss no fuss. The problem is the carriers and the phone manufacturers putting bloat on there. But that problem is also an advantage. It also means that I can customize my phone in an infinite number of ways. and I still have a bigger dick screen.
  14. That sounds like a shift interlock problem. Try shifting in and out of park a few times.
  15. Well it is also that the cheaper cars are no longer total penalty boxes. A Sonic or Elantra isn't something you buy because it's all you can afford, it is something you buy because you like it too now.
  16. I think it has more to do with the fact that the purchases that were deferred a few years ago can no longer deferred.... that 1998 Accord/Camry/Impala just can't be kept on the road much longer.
  17. Welcome! Glad to see all the new people signing up lately!
  18. Teslas all over NJ and CT... more Teslas than Volts actually.
