  1. I like both actually, and both could have their place in a strong GM.
  2. You may have had these combined fuel economy numbers 15 years ago, but you also had a lot less power in engines capable of them and a lot less safety equipment in the vehicle to lug around. Even in 2002, the 5.3 was only putting out about 295 horsepower and 315 ft-lb of torque. Jumping from 315 ft-lb to 383 ft-lb is a really phenomenal jump in power.
  3. At least from this post... your theories surrounding Cyprus is a bit off.... Audi isn't after production capacity... they're after Alfa Romeo.
  4. The CrossTrek is a good little car for the target market. It gives Pontiac Vibe/Toyota Matrix owners something to move up into without feeling out of place.
  5. Audi has been after Alfa for a few years now.. this gets them closer to that goal.
  6. Aside from the paint, what is neat about it? There are bunches of them out here.
  7. Which is what the A3 name would go to... if Audi's naming was consistent. This should be an A2/S2
  8. Happy Birthday
  9. Steering wheel and logo were the giveaway.
  10. Well it's a '94 or older. Mirrors say that much. It could be a '94 and have the LT-1.
  11. I'll ask the fleet people about getting one.
  12. something doesn't jive here. How does a 1991 Caprice have a factory installed 1995 LT-1?
  13. This will be an instant classic for anyone with the checkbook to spring for one. Low production numbers + 30 months of production max. Buy it and stick it in a barn.
  14. In person, it's a total Durango rip off.... Chinese car company style. IS NO COPY!
  15. Oh good... I've been in the market for a battering ram...
  16. It just doesn't have the solid feel of the Lexus.. .much less the Germans or even Cadillac and Chrysler. Sure, it has more toys to play with than the Americans, but who cares about that if they fall off in your hands?
  17. I had to ask where the new TC was because they only had the current model on the show floor.... ooopsie... it was the new one they just unveiled.
  18. They were 4100 powered unless there is a diesel under there....
  19. I can't be the only one who sees Audi Jetta here....
  20. After living with a Sonata for half a week it isnt in the same league as the Regal. The Sonata is a tinny buzz bomb by comparison. Compare the Regal to the VW CC. That is the target market, not some value leader family sedan that leases for $99 down $99 a month. Sonata does nothing class leading except provide the most passenger cubic inches for your dollar.
  21. I'll wait for the numbers, but the XTS feels larger inside front to back, width is where it may lose ground. The CTS is amazing in the flesh. I don't see the rear as bland but as a nod to 1967.
  22. Now that I posted this, I'm being swarmed by them.
  23. I'm sure pricing will jump. I'm really digging the fangs on the GS. I know the laet one had them, gut they look better here.
