1. And poor white trash drive whatever they can pick up for $300. Whats your point? Mine was that times change, technologies change, personal preferences change and markets change.
2. Wouldn't it be significantly cheaper to keep your current computer and get an Xbox/PS3 for gaming? XBOX 360 Elite/PS3-$399.99 GTA IV $59.99 Dynex 32" LCD HDTV-$449.99 Total: $909.97 *that was just a quick search at Best Buy's website* And you dont have to worry about games not running on it, you get a far larger screen than you would with any computer, and you dont get the stigma of being a computer geek.
3. And at one point cars had a top speed of 45mph and rode on wooden wheels.

McCain's trend

Didn't McCain tell the Vietnamese everything they wanted to know after like a week as a POW? And didn't he leave his crippled wife for a woman worth $100 million? Douchebag.
5. It may have if they had actually managed to build a better Honda/Toyota.
6. McCain should have North Carolina locked up by now, the fact that he doesn't (according to polls) shows that either A) Pollsters are flawed or B) McCain is running a really inept campaign.
7. Tis indeed $2.94 everywhere now, but oddly, diesel seems to have gone up. It went from $3.45 last week to $3.55 yesterday.
8. Yeah, and thats strange. The governor is a Democrat, 11 of the 18 Representatives and 1 of the Senators are Democrats, the state is pretty consistently blue due to the urban areas. Looking at county-level results from 2004, its clear that PA is pretty much Philly and the Burgh, then the rest of the state. Ohio is far more unpredictable because it has more rural population than PA.
9. QUOTE(Screaming Trees @ Oct 3 2008, 08:11 PM) The Mile High Club I need to make it out to Denver someday.
10. Sounds like someone had tech-envy. Maybe I'll buy a Highlander Hybrid so we can have our own Hybrid Mafia meetings in my garage.
11. The irony is that PA really isn't a battleground state. Kerry won it in 2004 by 2%, Gore won by 5%, Clinton won by 9% both times. Its been polling steadily for Obama since he won the nomination. You guys shouldn't be getting mail from the Obama campaign simply because its not needed there. Florida, Ohio, Colorado, New Mexico and Missouri are the actual battlegrounds, Bush won them and the polls have been back-and-forth, for the most part. Edit: For the record, I haven't gotten anything from either presidential candidate. My state rep and the Republican candidate for governor have sent mailers. My Congressional rep has been running tv ads.
12. Yeah...none of that was specific examples, they were Karl Rove talking points.
13. Tell ya what. Give me some specific examples of this anti-USA agenda, or the specific ultra-liberal, bleeding heart silliness and I'll tell you what I think about them.
14. Aaaaaand now he has taken my car keys and put them someplace. I assume he threw them into a wormhole or some sort of trans-dimensional port, since they dont seem to be anywhere in this dimension.
15. People can use their money how they would like, there is no government backing for this as far as I can tell.
16. Congress as a whole almost always has a lower approval rating than the pres, doesn't matter which party is in charge. And things weren't working too well when Congress was rubber stamping everything Bush wanted, hence the 2006 election which created gridlock because Bush isn't the bipartisan politician he claimed to be in 2000. His idea of bipartisanship is getting less conservative Republicans on board with his uber-conservative agenda. That wont be a problem starting next January, huge Democratic majority in both houses and a Democratic pres will get things done. These may not be things that everyone agrees with, but you cant please everyone all the time. And 68, the size of the government has grown under Bush, who I wouldn't call a liberal, unless we're talking about money, he's very liberal when it comes to throwing around taxpayer dollars. He's like a less concerned FDR.
17. Is that why a Republican president begged Congress to give $700,000,000,000 to Wall Street?
18. Bump, cause I want to start a Hybrid Mafia, but I'm pretty sure there are no other eligible members here.
19. $2.99 yesterday, although a few friends said that it was $2.94 at a couple stations.
20. Linkypoo Thats going to be a long trip, more Muzak than I'd be able to stand.
21. So instead of using campaign contributions to meet with world leaders (someone he had been criticized for not doing) he should have donated those contributions to you and your neighbors to pay the bills you've brought on yourself? Then you'd be accusing him of buying votes. Some people need to grow up, some people are just making immature comments instead of trying to use logic and facts to discuss their political position.
22. If they invited all of the people running for pres or vp, the debates would either be 6 hours long or nothing that mattered would be said. Does anyone remember the debates before the primaries? Total clusterf@#k, lots of hand raising and little substance.
23. Steak-n-Shake is pretty good for having the greasiest burgers ever. I love the fries. As far as local places, Springfield Brewing Company has great live music, edible food and beer galore.
24. Waffle House is awesome after a night of drinking. IHOP, not so much, although a friend of mine now manages an IHOP, so I have some hookups to mediocre food. Applebees is the worst of the chain sit-down restaurants, but the other places suck major ass as well. TGIF, Chilis, Ruby Tuesday are all better than Applebees, but its much the same way that HIV is better than AIDS.
25. Well VP debates are pretty nonsensical, since the VP is *supposed* to only have one job and isn't directly elected by the people. Knowing that, the campaigns set their goals, and probably reached them. Biden didn't say anything stupid and gave the appearance of a man who could, if needed, step into the presidency. Palin didn't look like a total moron. This Tuesday's debate, in which actual voters get to ask the questions, should be interesting.
