My bro-in-law went to go trade his '05 F-150 in on an HHR, but the Chevy dealership he went to valued the truck at $20k and were going to offer him $17k for it, Edmunds and KBB both value to truck at around $26k which is about what they owe on it.

Valiant effort, but you-know-who wont get into any debate in which he would be forced to say that Wagoner has made improvements or that The Plan doesn't address many of the biggest issues plaguing GM.

I'm not calling for Wagoner's ouster, GM has improved the product so much in the last 3 years its unbelievable. I've said it before, getting rid of Wagoner would slow GM's roll, someone else would come in and possibly re-evaluate all of the new programs, slowing their introductions and letting the competition improve.

I never gave serious thought to a brand new Malibu/G6 because the interiors, while not bad, aren't as good as the Fusion, the Fusion has more 4cyl HP and offers a stick. GM has made great strides in products the last few years, but they're still a generation of cars away from selling the best cars on the market.

They were great. The saleswoman was awesome, she pretty much handed me the keys and asked if I had any questions. She let the car sell itself. Then when it came time for paperwork, they were awesome with trying to get the car financed even though the loan on the Solara wasn't paid off yet. So yes, they were very friendly.And the car is still awesome.

I saw a Model T the other day, that was weird.

The interior color was also not my first choice, but charcoal (with piano black trim) isn't available on the base model. It does look good though, I'm not complaining. I too could do without the blanks. The three to the left (driver's side) of the "Fusion" logo are for the DIC, the other side of the logo has the passenger airbag light, button for the hazards and another blank that may not actually be for anything. I haven't seen that spot filled by anything in any car. I'm still loving it, I really think Ford has a winner and is an MCE away from being best in class. Make ABS and side airbags standard and clean up the center stack (make all interior colors look as good as charcoal) and they'll have a car that is better in almost every way than the CamCord at a better price.

Promise me you'll at least consider a Milan/Zeypher. To be perfectly honest, I was still leaning very heavily towards a Maxx until I got in the Fusion and pulled out of the dealership on the test drive. It was absolutely perfect.
