I'm crossing fingers and toes for SAAB! Right now creditors have to OK the restructuring plan: they have the option to go with the restructuring (receiving some 25 cents on the dollar) or to put SAAB into liquidation right now (some 15 cents on the dollar). If they support the restructuring, SAAB will get the 3 month extension it needs, hopefully announcing a new owner within that period.

Well, the issue is when you sell 60% or 70% of your production to daily rental fleets, not when you fleet cars at more modest percentages. Fleeting a relatively small % of your production can be a good showcase to potential consumers.

I see a lot of Mazda 3 on the Astra's greenhouse and rear end... not a bad thing, as it doesn't have an idiot-smile grille up front like the Mazda. Re coupes, there's a rumour about an Insignia Coupe (a new Calibra?), so maybe there could be a 2-door Buick Regal GNX for the US in the future. As for smaller coupes, the Astra GTC is supposed to be more coupe-like. I hope Buick in NA gets the full Astra range.

Finally bought Mastodon's Crack the Skye. Have only listened to tracks 1 to 4, but I'm loving it so far!

It's just weird... the black sort of hides the surface details, making it almost bearable.
