C7, Evolution or Revolution?
1963-1967 had some sexy curves. perhaps taking a look at the c1 could be interesting... i want something forward looking but that is corvette, something that connects it to the past visually even if it's just overall proportions. i'm no desinger, so it's hard for me to say pick 'element a' or 'element b'.

Could they be referring to a diesel V8, or US applications of the 2.9L V6? AFAIK the 2.9L V6 will be offered on the Euro CTS in 2009.

2008 Chevy Malibu Four-Cylinder LTZ Real-World Test Drive
I checked shared mpgs for 9-3 sportcombis and they were well above EPA estimates. Interesting.

Toyota tops GM in first quarter global sales
But that is exaxctly what GM did for years. Sometimes it seems incentives were good when it was GM doing them 'because it kept plants running at close to full capacity', but now that Toyota is using its financial muscle and upping incentives it's suddenly seen as a bad thing: I don't get it... Does Toyota runs the risk of doing the same as GM did? Yes, if they're dumb. However, they haven't been dumb over the last 30 years.

Solstice Coupe/Targa spotted in the real world
Here's RWD sportiness done right in a world of high fuel prices: http://www.leftlanenews.com/spotted-solsti...he-streets.html Too bad that at this point I can only hope GM can commit resources to offer a closed Opel GT, but this is good looking too. Enjoy the pics!

GM posts $3.3 billion Q1 loss
Disappointing is the word: again GM posts negative operating cash flow (minus $3.6bn), again NA market share is down (21.7% Q1 2008 versus 22.5% Q1 2007), and the only reporting region where GM posts market share gains in Q1 2008 is LAAM. The way macro factors are working right now, GM needs DeltaII and Gamma (assuming they'll be offered in NA) products to be very successful in NA, or else things can get really ugly.

Toyota tops GM in first quarter global sales
I didn't know about that one. Is that a UK designation? Re your other post, I don't think you should leave. I like seeing people who follow the industry as professionals here: it brings a degree of rationality to the forums.

Turbo V6 (with AWD?) Commodore speculation
What got my attention was this: The current 9-5 is 4836 mm long, so this (LWB EpII, IIRC) is about the same size as the current 9-5. The Opel Insignia is around 4830 mm in length, also very close in dimensions to this LWB EpII car. EDIT - unless they got that info wrong too

It finally happened!
- So what about an Epsilon II G6?
I don't know. If Buick gets a TE variant, a mini-Enclave, it would be a nice lineup: 2 cars (Excelle/LaCrosse), 2 crossovers (mini-Enclave/Enclave). Dont' forget Buick is now paired with GMC and Pontiac.- Turbo V6 (with AWD?) Commodore speculation
Wow, that Holden Commodore sure looks like a Buick LaCrosse mule!- GM slashes North American truck production
- So what about an Epsilon II G6?
RWD Impala was cancelled, DT7 is rumored to have been delayed for 6 months for financial reasons (i.e., not enough $$$ available for the program to push forward as initally planned), but rumours regarding the Buick Zeta seem to have stopped recently - So what about an Epsilon II G6?
