  1. Yeah, Phuket is a place with those praradise-like endless beaches. But the idea of pronouncing that as 'f@#k-it Thai' cracks me up (EDIT: no racial insult to Thai people intended). Did you read my reply on your spring break thread? It was all in Portuguese and if you had any difficulties please tell me and I'll help you translate it :AH-HA_wink:
  2. Very cool video! Is the Cheyenne the Mexican version of the Silverado or are there changes other than name?
  3. Well what obviously needs taking care of is the STS and whatever successor it will have. this is just to please potential Town Car buyers.
  4. The allmighty mullet rules! It could have been fun to play into his stereoyping though... Speaking of Asian restaurants there's one in Florida (don't remember if it's in Boca Raton or Deerfield Beach) called 'Phuket Thai'... I find that name amusing...
  5. jiggles
  7. g-string?
  8. obtuse? that'd be me! j/k answer to thread: angle
  9. Congrats on your results! And enjoy Las Vegas! :AH-HA_wink:
  10. I remeber seeing Luminas as police cars in Kuwait.
  11. Yeah, could be. But I'm keeping a "seeing is believing" attitude towards these Alphas...
  12. Couple working as a team.
  13. I voted Volvo
  14. Perhaps the Cadillac would provide the volume (and consequently the profitability) the Holden+Pontiac pair wouldn't be able achieve on their own.
  15. broken neck
  16. In my country the minimum speed in Motorways is 50Km/h (31mph) and the speed limit is 120Km/h (75mph). And people do get fined if they're driving below 50Km/h.
  17. If at first you don't succeed, you try, and try, and try, and try, and try, and try, and try, and try, and try (ad infinitum?) again.
  18. Oh, I almost forgot about the Manta. Those were some of my childhood favourites as well! On a funny side note, I remeber the story about the Ascona being renamed Opel 1604 in Portugal, because the final 4 letters of the original name are not office talk for a part of a woman's anatomy
  19. It's quite common over here also... the bad part is that in Portugal (and most of Continental Europe, I think) you're not allowed to overtake through the right...

    Spring Ahead!

Beautiful sunny day in Lisbon today! I Had lunch with some friends right by the sea: one of my friend's dad is in the hospital, but we kinda forced her and her boyfriend to come and have lunch with the rest of us. That way she got a proper Sunday (for a change).
  22. I remember the Monza name. I like it more than Calibra and this would make a nice Monza.
  23. pop
  24. that made me laugh
  25. I read that VW's boss told the design people that the IROC concept will not become the Golf/Rabbit-based coupe, but the Golf/Rabbit itself. I have to admit that to my eyes the IROC says 'Golf/Rabbit' much more than 'Scirocco'.
