  1. So, would an El Camino version of this get the VE nose (that the US is getting as the G8), but with a ME Lumina grille and bumper?
  2. I hope it does and I understand the easier integration bit, but they should have introduced it first in a Cadillac (maybe as a DTS-only item, expanding it to STS/SRX and CTS), and then in Buicks. I have nothing against Buicks, but if Cadillac is GM's top-of-the-line brand it should get innovations as exclusives for a model year or so.
  3. Dyslexia
  4. I see some Aston Martin Rapide in this. What's with the headlights, though? They look odd...
  5. I don't really mind having gray hair. It is bound to happen to everyone eventually...
  6. abso-f#cking-lutely Sorry for the non-office talk. Here's some Metallica trivia for you: this was an expression used by Cliff Burton. James Hetfield used to say it alot live whenever the crowd sang the chorus of 'For Whom the Bell Tolls'.
  7. If I followed on your footsteps I'd have to shave my head
  8. I think you make a valid point there. Cadillac should be the technology leader since it is the top GM brand.EDIT - I mean this at an introductory stage of tech developments. And the CTS would have been a great product to showcase this IMO.
  9. More power and more torque? That 'unexpectedly high' comment could mean 'higher than M5'.
  10. long gone i sincerely hope the lady is still in good health, though
  11. Nuclear just because N it is after M
  12. Nicer pics than the ones we had seen before. I actually like the car in this picture.
  13. Não me esqueci, mas fui muito directo:I just told him that I want to move out of Portugal once the Masters' Thesis is approved and I get my degree (should be a year and a half from now), and that I'd appreciate his help in contacting the local partners in the country I want to go live in when the time comes. I didn't resign: that has to be done in writing around here. If he makes the decision to offer me a (not-so-)golden-handshake now I'm tempted to take it and go do something else for the time it takes for the thesis to be ready. Maybe some part-time or temp work, something that is strictly 9-to-5 work. Response to thread: Pain in the ass (which goes well with a boss - rat association LOL)
  14. back My f-ing back is killing me today, and still no meeting with the boss: just a 'don't go out to lunch just yet' notice.
  15. Fuming Edited to 'fuming' because annual meeting is scheduled for tomorrow and I might have to say a few things I don't really want to say to my boss...

  19. Great weather today as well! I'm really hoping it will last until the weekend so I can go and bake in the sun a little!
  20. Poooooooooooooooo
  21. It's like Summer here: 27 degrees Celsius (that's 80.6 degrees for those of you who use the Farenheit scale) at 6:00pm today! If this weather holds until the weekend I'm hitting the beach!
  22. morality
  23. It's the Heritage Edition! Looking out the kitchen window: Ford S-Max (good looking MPV)
  24. The Policeactually those two names go well together: next association should be 'police chase'
  25. Car-related I don't open the passenger-side window unless the driver-side is closed. I always have a heavy-metal CD in the glovebox. I may have a Jewel CD playing, but there's always a metal CD standing by. I always wash my car at the same place, next to a local supermarket: it can be dirty as hell when I'm travelling, but I'll come back home and wash it there. EDIT - forgot an important one: no smoking allowed in my car. Other pocket contents have to be: left front pocket - car and house keys. right front pocket - tissue/handkerchief to blow my nose (very helpful now that both Spring and allergies have arrived). back right pocket - mobile phone (wallet is carried).
