  1. If I hit the lottery I'll show up in the Tiger Hunt Cadillac V16... If I do not win the lottery I might not be able to even aford to go Grayhound. The week before I will be blowing $1K on gas, tolls & food to go down to Tulsa, OK.
  2. under current
  3. O.B. For president. I agree with everything you said. Add to that a healthy respect for the both the FIRST & SECOND amendments and you've got my vote!
  4. Yeah.... if I cross a "NO TRESSPASSING" sign to look at a car PHOTOS are involved. Get your digital camera & let's see it.
  5. I agree... rears are not bad the front ones are lame.
  6. It's a '58 Fo' Sho' The cream & red color combo is a bit gross but the car is ubber cool.
  7. Convertibles are not my cup of tea but I'd LOVE a 4dr hardtop! Also that Cabalero is gorgeous!
  8. Awsome... where'd you buy yours?
  9. AS far as I'm concerned this prickl should be the next ruler of the free world!!!
  10. I can not stress enough how carefull you should be to not screw up or rip out good, solid stock components to just get on the EFI/disk brakes/20" rim bandwagon. Balthazar knows what he's talking about. I'd measure THREE times and cut once. Stock/rebuilt is where it's at if you ask me!

Yes, these are a bit bland & more boring than the 300C & Charger but they're still RWD, have optional V8s & clean as a whistle styling. Now if only they were working on a full size 2-dr hardtop, A 100% AUTHENTIC Bonneville/GP.
  12. honestly.... not a big fan of rice-boy plastic crap.
  13. Balthy: I prefer to talk in cu. in. versus liters but I think that most people can not appreciate how big a 364, 394 or 425 just to name a few really are. My Cadillac's 7.0 liter 425 motor is MORE THAN FOUR times as big as a Honda Civic's 1.6 liter motor... I wonder how many cubes a 1.6 liter Honda motor really is. Maybe 95. As far as me being a madman I take that as a compliment! Esp. from someone who hit a deer in A 1964 Catalina at about 100 mph on some back woods road in NJ. Camino: I will make every effort to take the B-59... but that requires that I make some serious dough in the next month. For one thing the Caddy is proving to get better fuel economy. Also, the 1959 Buick needs radial tires if it goes that kind of distance. And third, in a cosmic coincidence the 1977 deVille spent most of its life out in Oklahoma. I was given the title from Oklahoma by the previous owner. So it's almost perfect... maybe the Cadillac would like to visit back home. Also, there's no shame in taking a 30 year old Cadillac down to Tulsa, it's still a milion times cooler than some ugly beige 2007 Toyota Camry LE rental car. Anyway gotta run. Busy busy BUSY today!!!
  14. How original, I can almost tell it's not a Camry.
  15. Here's an idea.... don't back up into solid objects.
  16. I was at the junkyard today... there was a 1982 Coupe deVille in there... it was the pedestal for a 1996+ STS. The blue exterior complemented the white carrige top and white interior very well. I could not beleive all the Northstar powered cars that were there. They had over two dozen of them, most of them were Eldorados & STS from the mid 1990s.
  17. I bet an Ethiopian could crawl in/out of the panel gaps.
  18. hugs
  19. Goofy, blad and looks about a foot too fall.
  20. Ugly. The only thing that's changed is the tail lights... (& headlights)
  21. You own a Lexus Minivan & a Corolla wagon AUTOMATIC. Sorry to say your opinion is NOT valid. :AH-HA_wink:

Sexxxy! Camaro is my other Jesus... Zeta might as well be the 2nd coming of Christ!
  23. Fly: You're absolutely right, I think if I was a millionare I MIGHT pay $40,000 for the car since I lkoved the show as a kid... but if I'm going to spend $10 mill in ONE place it better be an auction for the Last Duesenberg ever made with the "Tiger Hunt" 1931 Cadillac (bodied by Pininfarina) on a trailer behind it.

Ugly or not, the point is Dodge & Chrysler were selling ZERO cars with V8s a few years ago, so if sales of their V8 powered cars are down for 2007 it does NOT indicate that the V8 is becoming LESS "popular" or anything even CLOSE to waht the title of this thread indicates. The death of the V8 means it is goign away completely. Maybe if gas hits $10 a gallon and stays there ofr the next few years V8s will get scarce in cars and less prominant in trucks but even then V8s are not dying any time in the near future. Just the assumption is (sorry) f**king retarded.
  25. Please do NOT mess up a great 389 by installing EFI on it. If you had 5,000 to do it right I'd still say don't but if you plan on driving it everyday and not as some show car & you want to do it on a budget then do NOT mess w/ some jimmy rigged fuel rail & computer. Other than that just enjoy the hell out of the car, but try to keep it original. Balthazar: If I ever win the Lottery or inherit a bunch of money I want first dibs on your awsome G/P, between those awsome 8-lug wheels and the great patina the car has I can imagine it being a kickass 100% stock drag car & weekend road warrior.
