  1. Breeze... Lupo, Sky Slider? WTF are we in the twilight zone!?
  2. Funny stuff. Nothing wrong wit forced induction, BUT turbo/supercharging aside we need a solid, powerhouse of a motor in the SS or Z/28 that is nothing but a LS-based pushrod torque monster. Knowing what we do about GM, I'm sure forced induction will not be a crutch.
  3. CGI??? DO you mean they really did NOT drive a Tundra down a ramp at 100mph and then slam on the brakes at the last minute before it falls off killing the driver.
  4. Here's a Mopar some of you are not familiar with: http://www.ravenentertainment.com.au/e55chargerpics.html
  5. Flamingo
  6. Getting back to the Sunfire... I've always loved that concept.
  7. Nuckfig awsome! I love the Duramax... someday I'm going to put together a duramax powered 1950s land yacht. BIG, luxurious classic car with a turbocharged diesel that gets better MPG than most modern economy cars.
  8. Cool. Congrats, knowledge IS power.
  9. Mustang 5.0 = great value for a modern day muscle car. I wish I had SOMETHING positive to say about Honda but every one I've driven has failed to really excite me. There's nothing wrong with making a decent econobox, but do not try to put lipstick on a pig like Ricers do. As far as this thing goes I'm at a loss for words. There's a 3rd gen. Camaro running around here with a Ford blue oval glued to the front bumper cover, and there's also a few other such frankensteins with Japanese cars with bowties or whatever. Super lame.
  10. That '57 Chevy is the best part of the movie!
  11. Cool, at least it's GM.
  12. That could be ANYTHING, or even nothing. Only time will tell.
  13. You best back that up with some photos...
  14. It's ugly.... flat ass like an anorexic chick = The rest of the car is no better. Thank God I do not live in the EU. I love my 425 cu. in. Caddy way too much to put up with some cheesy, tiny 42.5 cubic inch powered bread box.
  15. They say a picture is worth a 1000 words.... and last but NOT LEAST... beat this:
  16. I'm from Slovakia (Slovak Republic) or as it was known in 1987 when we moved to the USA Czechoslovakia. But yes, ethnicaly & geographically we are not that far from Yugoslavians, or the Polish... or even Germans.
  17. Mark: From what I have seen I would think the 1959 Buick survival rates are probably not too bad... right? I mean there's dozens of them just on B-59.com, & recent photos of hundreds more. But then again even if we documented 28,000 B-59s it would still only amount to 10% opf the cars produced. Even if every one of the 285,000 made survived down to every commercial chassis I'd still say there's not enough of these cars. It is quite shocking (to me) that in the past several years I have seen thousands & thousands of cars at car shows but have yet to see even ONE 1959 Buick. Maybe there's one or two at the Buick club meets but even local Buick fanatics/owners/collectors just scratch their heads when I pull up in my car & say it's been a while since they saw one. For some like my buddy Kenny who collects Buicks and has a few GSX (including a $100,000 ragtop) and a Grand National, it's been several YEARS since he saw a 1959 Buick.
  18. Wow, that sounds like a sharp color combo., although a red car with a white interior does look best with a white roof, but that's just just my preferance. Again, I'll post a pic of BIG RED as photographic evidence. (that's my '86 F.B. & '68 Camaro behind Big Red) Yes, I sold it to buy the 1959 Buick. It still sites in my driveway but it belongs to a crazy car guy in the Netherlands who has arranged for a shipping company to pick it up in the next few days.
  19. It's not ridiculous. The amazingly succesful PT Cruiser was supposed to be a Plymouth not a Chrysler... Chrysler needs to bring back the value brand and stop dicking around with crap like the Aspen & blasphemy Jeeps like the Compass.
  20. What's left looks like it started off as a cheap Toyota MR2 based kit car.
  21. Thanks Balthazar. That's crazy that the B-59 can be push-started... I had no idea.
  22. They SHOULD build a Chevelle on ZETA, just for a few years... then when demand for the Monte Carlo is up again and Chevrolet needs some good P.R. they can bring the Monte back just like they did with the Camaro.
  23. Sounds good! Always a geat idea to have a backup strategy.
  24. I cringe at the thought of how many 1959 Buicks I've heard of in just the past three years that have been crushed after their owners decided all was lost. It makes me happy to see the 1969 Camaros from CARS that are being built right now, but what about the 1959 Imperials, 1939 Buicks & 1961 Cadillacs? Those type of cars, one year only designs built in (relatively) small numbers are the ones that I feel like mourning for.
  25. The dude with those two matching flattop B-59s, (green LeSabre & blue Electra 225) has more wicked cool photos on Buick-59.com. Also, the nicest black 1959 Buick Wagon is in Sweeden.
