As of this day I forgive Saturn for most of its past transgressions. Between the Sky, the Outlook & the new VUE this makes for a pretty respectable lineup over at Saturn. When is Honda going to combat Saturn with a Scion like division called Uranus?

Of course... here in Mass they are pretty agressive about front plates. I've gotten $hit for it from a cop more than once, on my Camaro & my Blazer & tyhe Firebird. PLus you can't an inspection sticker w/ out one either, UNLESS you have the magical "Green Plate" that's a long story in & of itself. The big brother element is a biig part of the reason but boucing radar off the front plate is a very legitimate need for cops. How much radar do you think a C6 Vette bounces off it's bumper cover?

Imagine a car the size & proportioned like the old Lexus IS300s but with a tubrocharged straight-6 along the lines of the SRT4. That would be much better than some torque-steer happy econobox.

Gotta love these threads, so much speculation. I still say the time is perfect for a modern day BOP 215 with D.O.D. THAT'S by far the best win/win scenario regarding fuel economy, torque/horsepoerpower, smoothness & weight savings.

I honestly can not find ONE good thing about this car. The design is horribly ugly, the profile is painfully dull and the mechanicals are on par with most European city cars, which is to say you'd be better off on a bike or rollerblades... or, all joking aside a Moped. UGLY, UGLY, UGLY! Form follows DISfunction.

Nissan has been dead to me since they dropped the Datsun moniker in the USA. I like my '97 Datsun Cedric but I'd trade it straight up for a '94 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham in a headtbeat.

Turbo Mopars are still mostly useless because of thier FWD. Just my opinion. I've always loved the Buick Skylark cowcatcher nose. Love it or hate it you'll never mistake one for a Camry or Accord. More than you can say for a Corsica or Lumina of the same era!

I've talked with several potential buyers now and I'm getting al kinds of silly stories and tall tales. In the edn my reserve of $4500 may not be met and I might have to rethink this whoile thing. I think if it does not meet reserve or come damn close I'll just keep the Super 88. I need to do some introspective reflection, I might be getting stupid about this whole thing. At any rate the auction ends in a short few hours so we'll see. Maybe I will just keep the Super 88 & part out the Cadillac STS, then sell the Datsun and add that to my tax refund money to buy the '59 Buick while keeping the Super 88 too. I'll be happy to sell the Datsun if it means I can own both the 1964 Olds & a 1959 Buick!

It's a car that should be driven by clowns in a circus, not on New England roads as a taxi. I sure as hell would expect the fare to be damn cheap if my Taxi cab is a Scion! The xB is the only semi-cool Scion though, cute as a button. Who Knew Mrs. M. Cooper & Mr. C. Astrovan would make a good looking baby!?
