  1. Well said! Gus' G.Prix is quite an example of GM durrability, even the unibody FWD stuff.
  2. as did Japanese cars & S. Korean cars back in the day.... I can see YellowD's point. 50 years from now our kids might be driving a "CHERY CAMERO" or "HEYf@#k 3000-GTSi"
  3. Well... I figured it was time to retire the original R&M thread so I made a new one. First off here's a small collection of interesting "retired" cars along Rt.66 http://netintime.tripod.com/old-cars/oldcars.html ---- Next up is the South Austin Speed Shop http://www.hotrodhotline.com/feature/2006show/06lsroundup/ ---- And finally here's an AWSOME blog: "Telstar Logistics" http://telstarlogistics.typepad.com/telsta...land/index.html make sure to check out: - Cadillac & Lockheed connection?! SCROLL ALMOST HALF WAY DOWN - Video of U.S. Army Hummer driving through Iraq - United States Library of Congress (archive of color photographs) "America from the Great Depression to World War II, 1939-1945" - Atomic Tourism - Municipal Railway Streetcar 1006
  4. Good point Cpt. BooYeah! Rusty Jones (mascot of T.W.) added her for the absurdity of it all...
  5. Love him or hate him he's got a huge audience.
  6. I personally can't WAIT for Schwarteneger to be our president!!!
  7. That's awsome. You guys are really upset? Why not destroy one of these over rated mid-engined VWs? Who cares? It's not even a true Lamborghini! It doesn't have paper cutter doors & the styling is painfuly unoriginal. I think they should cut up MORE new exotics. They still make these POS cars, it's the people who chop & hack up 1930s and 1950s cars that are @$$holes. And I'm not talking about chopping the roof a little or a mild custom, I mean the retards that make lowriders out of 1938 Buicks and 1955 Pontiacs.
  8. tool
  9. I'd be happy to slaughter a dozen FWD cars with a transverse mounted motor just to get one more RWD product from GM!

  11. THIS is the grand-daddy of the Corvette Z06... the 1963 Z06.
  12. You're right about that... I've dropped the ball. I'm sorry. Between this business of getting the scavenger hunt thread ready (I'm doing that RIGHT now) and selling my Super 88 not to mention the Infiniti being a deuchebag to my wallet and the Datsun still being in intensive care while the STS sits under a carport, unregistered & useless as I dream of dragging home two more cars before the end of the month, it's been a hectic, crazy time. First thing first. The scavenger hunt is this sat. morning so that's my first priority. After that the Tight Whips SATs will be just around the corner. I promise to get it up before the end of Feb, but perhaps for once I can under promisse & over deliver by getting it to you by next weekend. I have tons of questions jotted down all over the place from my scrapbook to my notebook & even the calendar at work, many of them are very random & not car related at all. Now enjoy some eyecandy:
  13. I got it! You ready No$$$$? It's a 1966.... . . . . . . . . . . . Small Block Chevrolet (350) Powered : http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1966-datsun...1QQcmdZViewItem . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Datsun 411 wagon! This is as close to a "RAT ROD" as I can find while still meeting your requirements. 350 small block, no bmupers, beat to $h! body, racing seats... it's perfect. :AH-HA_wink:
  14. So does a Hyundai.... I'd rahter push a two-ton Fleetwod Brougham up a slippery hil than drive either!
  15. BMW Z-1
  16. Enola Gay
  17. I think Elanor is pretty cool but way too RICEY! As far as 1971 Mustangs they looks cheesy. It's almost as if the Japanese had tried to make a full size ripoff of the original Mustang. I'd rather have a 1971 Datsun 240Z or a 1974 Toyota Celica Hardtop than a 1971 'Stang. But that being said at least it's a hardtop and besides, any '71 Mustang is a dowright beauty next to a '74-up Mustang II.

  23. SOOOOOOO TIRED! I just finished editing the ebay listing for the Super 88 and adding more photos, tons more photos. I need to go to bed, my alarm goes off at 4:55 and it's already 12:53. Much thanks to SpeedingPenguin, who is letting me use his eBay account. Mine is in suspense right now, my feedback is 473, 100% positive but they think I owe them $236 as of my last bill & I thinkit';s closer to $50 but since ebay has the customer service of the Stalin administration I had to "borrow" SP's account. EDIT: 1/31/2007 adding more photos: http://img227.imageshack.us/img227/390/dscn4204zu0.jpg http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/1579/dscn0870bq0.jpg http://img249.imageshack.us/img249/4268/dscn5284qi0.jpg http://img253.imageshack.us/img253/7259/dscn5296ng3.jpg http://img259.imageshack.us/img259/4391/dscn0392le6.jpg http://img253.imageshack.us/img253/41/dscn5317vq9.jpg http://img253.imageshack.us/img253/1011/dscn5308cg8.jpg http://img259.imageshack.us/img259/7449/dscn0352pp9.jpg http://img259.imageshack.us/img259/916/dscn0004xg2.jpg http://img380.imageshack.us/img380/8890/dscn0005ig0.jpg http://img258.imageshack.us/img258/6015/dscn9563gc6.jpg http://img265.imageshack.us/img265/6599/dscn9573hx2.jpg http://img455.imageshack.us/img455/4148/dscn9573vl7.jpg Interior http://img255.imageshack.us/img255/9760/dscn3568kt8.jpg http://img244.imageshack.us/img244/4765/dscn4197qz7.jpg http://img451.imageshack.us/img451/2982/dscn3551lr0.jpg http://img451.imageshack.us/img451/9066/dscn3567gd2.jpg http://img515.imageshack.us/img515/8480/dscn3570vj7.jpg http://img264.imageshack.us/img264/1491/dscn3569ec6.jpg http://img490.imageshack.us/img490/2780/dscn3568hr8.jpg http://img253.imageshack.us/img253/8890/dscn3553sh1.jpg http://img174.imageshack.us/img174/1015/dscn9742ix2.jpg Exterior http://img358.imageshack.us/img358/1066/dscn3540so2.jpg http://img241.imageshack.us/img241/3853/dscn3541rk3.jpg http://img241.imageshack.us/img241/3853/dscn3541rk3.jpg http://img255.imageshack.us/img255/5461/dscn3546ak4.jpg http://img75.imageshack.us/img75/6253/dscn9395dd5.jpg Trunk http://img442.imageshack.us/img442/84/dscn4238vb4.jpg http://img489.imageshack.us/img489/4413/dscn3558sk8.jpg http://img79.imageshack.us/img79/4531/dscn3559um3.jpg http://img79.imageshack.us/img79/2572/dscn3560hk4.jpg Misc. http://img227.imageshack.us/img227/2844/dscn4208ky5.jpg http://img245.imageshack.us/img245/6281/dscn4261fi1.jpg http://img386.imageshack.us/img386/4083/dscn4209wo3.jpg http://img472.imageshack.us/img472/5983/dscn4262yf1.jpg http://img382.imageshack.us/img382/5538/dscn3548rr7.jpg http://img382.imageshack.us/img382/3667/dscn3580mi4.jpg http://img490.imageshack.us/img490/4711/dscn3582xi9.jpg http://img472.imageshack.us/img472/7656/dscn4264rm2.jpg http://img244.imageshack.us/img244/8756/dscn4216mw6.jpg http://img460.imageshack.us/img460/6776/dscn4211tq2.jpg
