Harley Earl once said something along the lines of: of "The front of the car, that's the most important, that's the face right there." The LaCrosse looks like a dead fish. Exactly.

Cool. Win-win Loopholes are fun!

The suspense is killing me. I'd love to see your car but I'm having the exact same problem. try this: www.tinypic.com

Cadillac C!MARRON II No they don't and they SHOULDN'T! S I X T E E N

It may not stop bullets and grenades but this is the nicest Cadillac limo in this thread right now. O.B. nice catch on the hubcaps on the DTS.

Interview went very well... I'm trying to stay optimistic. There's still several applicants they'll be interviewing but there's only two positions. I wish it was 1997 again. So you finally traded the Aurora on a Toyota huh?

I'll have another T.W.T.T. thread up later today. Things are wicked hectic right now and I can't concentrate enough to think of a new question.

Fiberglass: The Kaiser & Vette we all know are fiberglass. The Lambo & STS-V concept have plenty of plastic I'm sure & the Olds 442 hood is fibreglass. As far as the '73 Chevelle we all know those came with WAY too much ugly plastic & the '63 POntiac...

Good News We're mostly settled into our new house, although there's still a lot of boxes to unpack & some of my clothes are MIA. Bad News Business has been exceptionally slow for almost two months now and that combined with the expenses of moving means finances are about as tough as they have been in 4 years. Good News I have an interview today at a great international company for an excellent position with decent pay, opportunity for overtime & very good benefits. There's room for advancement & I have an inside track from my friend Izabella. Today's my second interview. Bad News Marcia is once again asking for a separation and it looks like as soon as the money is there it will have to happen. We're not even married and already things are getting real nasty like in all the scenarios you hear of with divorces. I'm sleeping on the couch most days & I've been depressed about all the $hit that's going to hit the fan. I could care less about me being miserable but Sofia is going to be the real victim. Things are very depressing right now. Good News Last night me & XP took a nice slow ride in the Super 88 and as we pulled into Chelmsford center the odometer rolled over to 25,000. I put like 45 miles on the car or something like that. At about midnight we drove through the Concord Cemetery where tons of famous Revolutionary War heroes are buried as well as poets, authors & other "celebrities" from the 1700s & 1800s. Cool stuff.

How much? How much? How much? How much? How much? How much? How much? How much? How much? How much? How much? How much? How much? How much? How much? The 1964 Olds Starfire Ragtop I saw the other day had fender mounted mirrors with a very intriguing fork style mount. I love the arrowheads on each seat back, very classy & cool. The rear window appears to be intechangable with my Super 88's and even the shape of the roof is very similar. The inboard "radio" is climate control right?

No real "news" here. GM is all about torque to the rear wheels... except after 1996 & 2002... then it's not so much. FWD Donuts in the DTS? So how are those flat spots on the rear tires from the car pulling itself forward even with the Parking brake on.
-
Yes Yes & yes... probably rolling in his grave over the FWD Caddy DTS & "in a coma" Town Car. I think Ford has spent more money on designing the headlights of the Fusion than they've spent on the T.C. last three redesignes. Looks like Fly is going to be the undisputed winner of the 2006 T.W.T.T.

I think both ads are great. It's a natrual progression from the LedZep stuff and these ads both have a subtle way of communicating what a Cadillac was, should be and will become again soon with the final brick in the new foundation. ONce the Zeta Caddy Arrives and the old DTS is purged from the lineup thje transformation will be complete & Caddy will be the standars of the world again.

In the next few weeks I'm going to post 59 different trivia questions of all different forms on C&G. Multiple choice, photo identification, photo match up & even some true or false. Some questions will be multiple part and others a simple one word answer. At the end of the 59 individual trivia thread questions all the winners will be added up and a trophy will be mailed via the USPS to the over all winner of the first annual Tight Whips Trivia Trophy. Best of luck to all, I encourage everyone to participate. Score so far: Fly: 4 OldsGuy: 2 WMJ: 1 Yellow_Dart: 1 Chevelle7.4L: 1 T.W.T.T. Thread #10 Three Questions this time around. - Who was born in Switzerland in 1878 on Christmas Day? - Mr. Benjamin Briscoe has what link to GM? - Besides Cadillac, what other luxury car company did Henry M. Leland help establish?
-
Fly already beat you to it and answered it correctly... slacker.

Fly is way in the lead now. On to the next question.

Well that was quick! Question posted: Today, 03:39 PM Answered: Today, 04:11 PM Score one point for Chevele7.4L

Pretty funny dude. Mopar's alright by me but the whole HEMI thing is blown out of proportion and has become a marketing gimick that is repeated by 6-13 year old kids. Yellow Dart: Ever seen one in real life with all four down? Gorgeous. You might like the Cadillacs that preceded the '58 Chevy with this same basic greenhouse shape. Or how about a 1965 Impala 2dr with the 60-4 AC going on?

Here You go AmericanRev. Just let me know if it's to you liking.

Correct! How come the easy ones are the ones people get confused on? Next: http://www.cheersandgears.com/forums/index...showtopic=11256

I've already related the stories of the house we're living at now. I only witnessed one "paranormal" happening back in 2001 but since we moved back in last month there's been nothing. I hear noises in the night occasionally but we have three cats so that's to be expected. I'm going to do some research on the history of this place and sort out the rumors & half truths. Oldsmoboi: The Others was a GREAT poltergeist movie! Skeleton Key was not bad either.
