  1. Wow... that's awsome. Neer tried it, you must have lucked out on the exact size/weight. Rock on!
  2. Wow... oh boy. (beats sellout/choke-artist to the punch) And Partricia Martin has 37.25% of a Mullett going on.
  3. Congrats on the new G6. Pictures?
  4. Fastback coupe? Listen up now GM: Please give it a hardtop greenhouse. Four windows that all drop down completely into the doors & rear quarters for that super cool "B-pillarless" look like the new CLK.
  5. You lost me? Referance to Judge Judy? GTO Judge? Either way, a friend was saying how the serious look does not suit me and those photos are not flattering. Oh-well... Here's one from that same day in the Q45.
  6. True. Although Saturn aside KILLING Oldsmobile cost GM more $$$ thus far than it would have cost to just keep them around, redesign the lineup and sell cars to this day. That's the REAL tragedy.
  7. Wow... you're the biggest Egomaniac since these three Schmucks.
  8. Oooopps. Ted Kennedy has been notified already.
  9. In December of 1980 John Lennon was shot & killed. In December of 1999 George Harrison was stabbed. Now it's August of 2006 & Sean Paul is still alive??? Proof that psychos & schizophrenics have HORRIBLE taste in music!
  10. Well, considering you already got 4/5 I specifically threw in a question involving aviation to make it fair. I guess it made it a no brainer for you... On to Question 17 & 18. http://www.cheersandgears.com/forums/index...&st=0&p=186793& http://www.cheersandgears.com/forums/index...showtopic=11486
  11. In the next few weeks I'm going to post 59 different trivia questions of all different forms on C&G. Multiple choice, photo identification, photo match up & even some true or false. Some questions will be multiple part and others a simple one word answer. At the end of the 59 individual trivia thread questions all the winners will be added up and a trophy will be mailed via the USPS to the over all winner of the first annual Tight Whips Trivia Trophy. Best of luck to all, I encourage everyone to participate. -------------------- Score so far: Fly: 7 Yellow_Dart: 4 OldsGuy: 2 WMJ: 2 Chevelle7.4L: 1 American_Revolution2005: 1 T.W.T.T. Thread #18 Yet another "name the manufacturer" question. - Recently came back from beyond the grave - Their vehicles feature wheels inspired by a plane's propeller blades - Along with their V8 models they also now offer a 12 cylinder model - 6 different models available for sale right now - This exotic's dashboard shares a design cue with the 2nd gen. Firebird - Competed at & finished in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2003 - Sounds like a car 'Vlad the Impaler' would drive
  12. That's the one! Bugatti Type 45/47: For people who think Cadillac & Marmon V16s are unimpressive. BTW: That's an H-16 motor with two cranks that apply power to the driveshaft via gear drive and it's supercharged to boot. Yet another reason why V-12 Ferraris are not as spectacular in my eyes...
  13. Thanks buddy... I'll log in sometime soon. This whole move thing has left me with little down time and what I do have I waste on here. I have been thinking I need to say "Hi" more often though. ----- BlkVpr: Right off the top of my head I can think of two other people on C&G who would like to stab Croc with a rusty shank given the chance. Okay maybe that's going way too far but that's the nature of Freudian Slips.
  14. BYEBMW... I barely remember that guy except for the fact that for some reason he was on someone's $h! list. IIRC there was a few times I agreed with him since he was on my side of some argument and then a few times he came out of left field with really weird statements. Lord Stafford was never arrogant to me, there was a few times we disagreed but he was my first true "friend" on here. We still e-mail on occasion. As far as making fun of Saturn, I think that SatURINE is much funnier than SatRUIN. But in either case the Sky has made me not hate the "Different Kind of Car Company". Before the Sky I considered Saturn to be an Annoying Idiot who has nothing to contribute... now I think of them more like an Autistic kid.
  15. THANK YOU!!! Look familiar? It's a Cord 810 with RWD and coffin nose delete. Now since we have two members who answered this question but both only in part I think we'll have a tie-braker to make it fair. ONLY for FlyBrian & Camino: This Automotive manufacturer had some very interesting ideas & production mechanicals in the pre-and post WWII era. At one point they made a few turboprop motors that were used on a few helicopters. They also made two different 24 cylinder motor designs and dabbled in H-pattern motors as well. This same little known manufacturer also made diesel engines for aircraft and marine use for the war effort. They also came very close to buying the Bentley brand but were outbid by Rolls Royce at last minute. Today they still exist but are primarily in the industry of forced induction for internal combustion motors. Good Luck Gentleman.
  16. No. The last clue is the biggest hint.
  17. NOS: V8? Yes! RWD? Yes! Body on Frame? Yes! Pillarless Hardtop? Yes! As soon as I have a hardtop '59 Buick I'll be all set for life.
  18. Nope... 0.475 Sumo to be exact.
  19. Trivia thread #16 still goes unanswered... http://www.cheersandgears.com/forums/index...topic=11447&hl= ------ T.W.T.T. Thread #16 Name this car: - SOHC motor, 16 cylinders - Four forward gears, one reverse - Supercharged (twin Roots type) - Two Zenith Carburettors - Cast alloy wheels
  20. WTF? Easy Reader? I've never seen or heard of this. Then again I came ot the USA in 1987 as a young kid, this seems to be from the mid 1970s. Is that Morgan Freeman BTW?
  21. I love Nikleback's ANIMALS but Jewel's not bad either. Yes I'm a straight male and I listen to Jewel... B.F.D. I voted "I'm a tool" however since I'm more into jock rock than some Pop-B.S. like Pink. Can you keep Josh out of thread for once...?
  22. - 1989 Pontiac Turbo Trans Am (as well as the less loved 2nd gen. Turbo) - 1968 Corvette... I known it does not look different form 1969 but the majority of the body panels and some mechanical components were redesigned since an early launch caused a lot of lemons.
  23. The hell with originality.... as long as you're not throwing 22" rims on it and making it into some ghetto-trash mobile with gold plated rocker panels & TV screens in the dash you're okay by me. There are so many clones & mild-customs out there that still fetch ton$ that originality is not what it used to be. If I were you I'd throw on a pair of chromed T.T.IIs on her... paint the car some cool color (candy apple red? yellow?) and keep the interior, exterios all original looking with the exception of LED tail lights & Silverstar Headlights.
