  1. Yes... this is actually being discussed in another thread.
  2. Geo Metro 4-dr 4-banger
  3. So was this list compiled by some 17 year old girl with Prince William posters on the wall? Pink Floyd, ther Beatles and a lot of other bands, British or not have more staying power than these over rated morons. Oasis was a stain on the sheets when those guys were superstars. Even David Bowe & Wings will be remembered after Oasis is long forgoten.
  4. In what? What do you drive these days, I forget? ----- Note to self: buy a 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT and throw the V6 in the dumpster... fabricate tube chassis rear subframe and drop in 572 cu. in. V8 out of the GM parts catalog.
  5. Croc: I thought you drove your parents ML300? All that BOF-RWD-V8 hate and you have a big cushy Cadillac of your own?
  6. OASIS You will never be better or greater than the Beatles!
  7. Those two cocky bastards are so very annoying. Off to the who do you hate thread I go...
  8. It's a 455SD and it is IMHO the best looking car in the world made in 1974. No contest. Even exotics started looking frumpy.
  9. If it's just a beater and you're not a perfectionist then MACCO is your best friend... have them spray the whole car for like $300.
  10. Toyota Echo?
  11. OKAY here's my list: - Sean Paul You can't sing! Your voice is like a down syndrome child on helium. - GM beancounters Two decades we've been in this rut of FWD and downsizing. - Tori Spelling You're a butter face & your 15 minutes was up 10 years ago. - Paris Hilton More useless & annoying than a Charcoal Canister out of a Pinto. - Al Gore No he did NOT invent the internet & he would NOT have made pot legal you dumb hippie.
  12. Hmmmm fascinating thread. I guess Hydrogen is the real answer after all. I for one am glad that at least GM is not dumping a to of money into Hybrids... investing millions inot Hybrids now is like investing thousands in peace metals to Japan in Nov. 1941. At least there's a slight performance benefit here instead of the B.S. oxygenation addative. BTW: I noticed there other day that on pumps in Massachusetts it says all gasoline is 15 % ethanol by volume... kind of the opposite of E85. G85?
  13. Ford Aspire?
  14. I was wearing a T-shirt with 3 1st gen. Camaros on it and XP knows a few of the people that were there. I was just showing my hate for Honda, nothing else.
  15. I forgot about the 'lectric S10s and I know they make Focus 4.6 GT conversions btu that's strictly aftermarket. This car was made by company "A" and then conversions were made and transformed by company "B" and sold as new under both brands' names. Think RUF Porsche... similar kind of "tuner". Like I said it's not GM but it has a link to a little Chevy that was made in the 1970s.
  16. Thanks Y.D. That's a great idea right there... I'm already getting told that Sofia is very aware of cars & trucks on the road... if she sees somethig that catches her eye it's always "COOL CAAAR!". One time uncle XP gave her one of those 1:64 "tuner car" 1960s Nissan Skylines when she was getting fussy at Autozone and she ripped off the spoiler the second she got it in her hand. The best thing about the '69 Firebird Trans Am are the wide-spaced racing stripes. I've seen a convertibe 69 TA clone but not the real thing. Where were you lucky enough to make that sighting?
  17. With the exception of 1969 I always prefer the Firebird/Trans Am over the Camaro in terms of styling. Even in the mid-1970s the Firebird never got the bulky bumpers or ho-hum styling. 1967 & 1968 the Firebird loooked great but then in 1969 the bulky chrome beak looked kind of awkward. The 1969 Camaro on the other hand is the epitome of perfection!
  18. Optimus HAS to be a COE 18-wheeler!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. Y.D. There's truth in what you're saying of course... but c'mon look at this car... does it look like he goes up to the Dragway and then goes curb hopping? The over all condition of the car did not make it look like it had anything over 100,000. The paint looked original but not very worn or faded. For what it's worth as much as I have disdain for FWD I have owned and driven a few high milage ones and beat the ever living piss out of several in my attempt to blow them up and this has never happened even with my near 200K mile demolition derby Fords & Mazdas. Let's be real here, Honda makes light weight stuff and is stingy with steel/aluminum and often times makes a flimsy car. Their cars suck for a lot of reasons and this is a big example of that. You hear about this kind of thing happening on a Honda on occcasion but never a GP/GTP or a Park Ave. What was funny is I high fived XP when I got back inside the Q45 and yelled "JDM yo!" to which he responded with: "guess that cone filter was a little too much!" :rotflmao:
  20. Agreed Balthazar.. those two quotes nailed it. Like I said I just hope the Arrowhead stays as well as the twin port, any twin port even the one off of late 30s Pontiacs. I'd also love to see the Idian head return in an emblem or what not.
  21. You guys remember that guy that was around for all of a week, his first post was about how doors are falling off Toyota Avalons, he went to the dealer and pulled the door handle abd the door supsedly fell to the floor? I hate Toyota as much as the next guy but making up whimsical tales of doors that are not attached to the car is not the way to show your GM support.
  22. The FJ cruiser is a retro vehicle even I don;t love. Only Toyota can make a retro truck look like a fisher price toy made in Malaysia.
  23. Great guess but no cigar.... the Clio has a transverse mounted motor in both FWD & RWD configurations. This car has a tuner version that comes with a motor mounted lenghtwise in the chassis.
  24. That's about 5 too many.
  25. Never been a big fan of the split bumper, but to each his own. Bitchin' Camaro Bitchin' Camaro I ran over my neighbor!
