  1. Wow... that sounds too good to be true! Wonder if this one has the (GS) star wars air cleaner? The 1967 Buick 4dr hardtops are sexy as hell too. Hey Camino... any 1959 Buicks or Pontiacs? how about any 61-62/67-68/69-70/71 Cadillac hardtops/hearses? How about 1957-1960 Dodges or Plymouths? Or any finned Mopar for that matter... I saw a scrumptious 1958 DeSoto at this Sunday's car show that spoke to me... it was a 4dr sedan but I still loved it!
  2. AS long as he's into RWD, V8s and (pillarless) hardtops we'll get along just fine.
  3. Burn motherf#$%er, let it burn, let it burn.
  4. Wow... well it was an accident so what can you do? As far as the car just take people's advice and then if all else fails then try taking it to a bodyshop as it may be a very cheap fix... realignment of the bumper cover perhaps?
  5. Three years ago the SS/SC Cobalt was just a twinkle in Chevrolet's eye...
  6. WMJ: Sorry but i like the simulated woodgrain better than the 80s pro-street black & aqua. Those lines do not go wiht the 'Malibus boxy shape. It's too much and too "look at me!"

If Ford "replaces" the Crown Vic with the 500 it will be the biggest damn mistake they ever made. That's the worst idea I've ever heard of in my life. I know that it's been discussed before but I stil think it's an empty threat.
  8. Thumbnails working okay for me, perhaps it's a firefox thing.

Evok: No offense but I think you're really manipulating definitions and twisting facts in your argument. Most of us see the error in your logic and it is actaully very sad to see someone preaching such doom and gloom. No car, product, feature or option ever sees a completely flat sales figures. There are peaks & valleys and in the end for all you or any of us know the V8 may be more prominent in 20 years than EVER. Like Balthazar said many brands are doubling or quadroopling their V8n offerings. Infiniti 1996 Q45: V8 Infiniti 2006 Q45: V8 M45: V8 QX56: V8 Lexus: 1996 models with V8s LS400 SC400 LX400 Lexus: 2006 models with V8s LS430 SC430 GS430 LX470 GX470 ----------- The M5 went from an I6 to a V8 and now has a V10 for God's sake... how can you possibly predict this trend? Not to mention that even Hyundai will most likely go V8 with the next Tiburon and Honda/Acura is even feeling pressure to make a V8. Honda is just plain dumb though and they have some communist anti-V8 agenda so who knows... maybe they'll hold out on a V8 again.
  10. Hahaha! Funny stuff.
  11. Wow... Canadians get some weird stuff. I thouhg tyour wheels were square?
  12. I for one think this is an even clearer example than the Camaro concept that GM now "gets it" the last and most important step will be a full size RWD model for Buick, Cadillac & Chevrolet.
  13. Wow, that is a steal. I'd jump on that deal if it was offered to me and I hate FWD. The Cobalt SS/SC is a great car and at this price is a bargain.
  14. The new devices section of General MOtors actually cares about what I think... they sent me a cool form letter saying I need to re-submit my ideas for the 5th gen. Camaro. My biggest & most important "hot-button" is that they keep the hardtop greenhouse for production. Check out the letter they sent: http://i3.tinypic.com/117qtug.jpg http://i3.tinypic.com/117ra76.jpg ------
  15. Sure did great all day Sunday when we drove around all over Gods creation and to the Tewksbury carshow. Then I got us lost in Billerica looking for the Buffalo. Pretty funny caravan... a 2000-ish Mustang GT, 1981 Chevrolet Malibu 2dr & a 1984 Datsun Maxima, all silver metallic.
  16. That's the long and short of ot right there!
  17. Here's what I hear you saying: Give future Pontiacs ground breaking and sexy styling that is love it (entusiasts) or hate it (Camcord drivers) and they will sell even better than just an all-RWD lineup. So in other words, if all future Pontiacs have muscular &/or beefy &/or sleek styling ANd they all have RWD with Rear-biased AWD then they will be as successful if not more than Chrysler's 300C.
  18. Your first post on a forum should NOT be an ad.
  19. Here's some photos. If I buy it this will be by far the lowest mileage car I will have ever owned, and yet since it's a 1964 M.Y. it will be the oldest. My 1968 Camaro has about 197,000 on the body, this car is 4 years older and at 24,000 miles is the epitome of a survivor. Even cardboard tags in the engine bay are still present & legible.
  20. Wow.... every parent's worst nightmare. I wonder weather a helmet would have helped in this case
  21. Yes, you are right Z/28, like the Integra the concept Camaro has a one piece bumper cover and header panel. Either way it's nice to see some traditional touches on a new car.
  22. Good look. Very racy. I like huge red Buick finned drums on a 1930s fenderless Hot Rod with Firedome power even better. Esp. flat black with red pinstriping and steel rims on whitewalls.
  23. WOW! Great concept for a thread. Love that Sudebaker V8 Walt. So first off the Volvo's crap-tastic 2.4 liter Four banger. Everytime I open the long hood on my compact little Datsun and see the inline six sitting pretty lengthwise between the Firewall and radiator it puts a huge smile on my face. 5.7 liters of ZZZ350 crate motor direct from GM. Translation: 377 horsepower at 7000rpm. I'm selling my muscle car to get a luxury car but in terms of gross horsepower I will not be giving up much. Check out that air cleaner... that's a 345 horsepower 394 sitting between the fenders. Yup... this is what a 24,000 original mile 1964 Oldsmobile Super 88 Holiday looks like.
  24. I'm all for bringing back the GEO brand... right after GM brings back Oakland, LaSalle & Oldsmobile
  25. Good news buddy... hope this works out for you.
