This poor Datsun Bluebird wants SOOOO hard to be a 1970 Pontiac GTO. :AH-HA_wink: This one wants desperately to be a '72 Oldsmobile.

'67 Camaro
I got Sofia the new '69 GTO in black with yellow glass and chrome interior. I also bought one that will stay unopened for myself. :D Just like this one except my Judge has the copper ultrafast wheels.

I dare you to eat that!
Red meat is never going to be absent from my diet. Last time me and my buddy Robin went camping we consumed nothing but steak tips, potatoe-and-beef-sew, beef-jerkey, water and beer for three days. Well on one beer run I had a bar of chocolate.

Am I Crazy?
I'll second that motion. As far as the "crease" I think 40% of todays $h!boxes have it.

I'm buying this classic...
WMJ: Yes they do have RWD and abundant Chrome. I guess I AM prejudiced when it comes to Russian cars. I've met and know several Russain people and have nothing against them personally but their conntry did some horrible things to my native Slovakia. My family back in Slovakia does not have a good histrory wiht our Russian oppressors, starting in the early 1940s when they destroyed my Grandfather's life/business/financial stability by stealing his brand new Mercedes truck at gun point. My grandfather had saved up whole life to buy that truck with his brother so they could really start doing well with their Delivery business. They sold their Clidesdale (sp?) horses and almost anything of value other than family members to afford it, only to have some snot nosed soldier with a rifle take it away. My grandafather was one of the greatest people I have known. A kind, gentle, forgiving soul wiht a heart of gold. He used to say all the time how the German soldiers were respectful and never really bothered them but most of the Russian soldiers were scumbags. So, yes when I look at this car I think of all that crap, and all the innocent people the Russians killed but are not recorded in history books because their slaughter was not a part of evermentioned holocaust. Stalin, as I'm sure some of you know killed more people by far than Hitler. I don;t judge people I meet who are Russians for their countrymens' mistakes but this is a car from a dark era. An era that most of the people on this forum can probably relate to only from movies but my relatives lived throught it. These stupid cars were reminders of their oppression by the Russians and thet's why to me it's never going to be an appealing car, desite some appealing features it borrowed from American cars of the 40s & 50s. Razor: You crack me up! Ocnblu: Me and marcia were looking at houses again the other day & I thought of you. The combination on the lockbox at one unoccupied house was: O C N.

Anyone here a fan of the 2nd gen Custom Cruiser?
I'm sorry I don't know why I've been accidentally linking so many Tripod images as of late. Here's a few that (hopefully) are going to work.

Truck Design criteria
I've worked at 3 different dearlerships (all GM) and had a half dozen managers who were all clueless. Managament at automotive dealers is NOT hired based on their knowledge of the Automotive field. Almost never is there a true car enthusiast or at least knowledgable person prdering the vehicles. This is a sad reality. A lot of dealers suck! Brainless optioning did not help the last gen F-body either. I had a manager who kept ordering loaded up Camaro SS-es with AUTOMATICS. Every time someone would pass on the car nad go elsewhere to buy a 6-speed he'd recite that only 16% of the population prefer manuals bull$h!. Nice guy but clueless abotu what sells Camaros.

2007 Chevy HD
I know the Ford I-beam bullshit sucks and snaps and breaks, hell I helped Sean weld one back togeather that had simply snapped with like 120K or 140K miles, don;t remember exactly but the milage was not THAT high and the Truck was from the early 90s. Now since we're talking about GM< I'm damn sure they're capable of designing and building a solid IFS & IRS for that matter. Ever see this truck?

Camaro at Houston Auto Show
I hope this car comes with a fold down license plate like the "Mercury Mystress" cause I want to have $@# with it. But seriously how about that intrigued limp-wristed chick in the upper left corner of the first photo? (red blouse) Future Camaro owner perhaps?

I dare you to eat that!
That $h! was on Fear factor and it looked NASTY. I'd rather go bobbing fpr plastic rings in pig's blood, climb some rotating tower and flip a '79 Camaro then hae to do just that one stunt. The Duck is still all Fetal position and it's eyes are all swollen. Grrrrrrrros!

2007 Lexus ES350 - First Pics.
True, they also probably will not be participating wiht too many stoplight dragraces wiht 28 year old kids in BMWs. Plenty of turbocharged Bentleys can kick ass on the dragstip but they often never get driven past 30% throttle.

2007 Lexus ES350 - First Pics.
Exactly. These guys need to get out more. Hulk Hogan's website called, it wants its 346 exclamation points back! IF they're this excited about the ES I wonder if they'd bust a nut on the monitor if they saw the new Supra-ish sports car that's comming. Hey Toyoguy: Rmember when all you import guys had flagships that could not accelerate better than a V6 Beretta? Your chatchphrase used to always be: "there's more to a sporty car than straight line acceleration" yeah, true. A FWD Camry is still a Camry, even by any other name. If you think entusiasts are going to buy Lexus ES then I've got a bridge to sell you in Brooklyn.

bends, rolls and folds
LOve that fascia! It's almost as if they combined a '66 Toronado wiht a '67 Camaro.

A new Golden Age?
Bring on the affordable RWD, outrageous styling, big displacement-on-demand V8/V12/V16s and lots of hardtops... then it WILL be the Golden age.

I'm pregnant
Wow! Congradulations man! When I found myself an expecting father at 24 it scared the $h! out of me. Money, responsibilty and a decent domiscile were all lacking but the moment I saw Sofia a peaceful calm set over me. I knew everything would be okay. Fatherhood has been the most fulfilling and fantastic experience of my life. I wouldn't take back Sofia for all the muscle cars in the world. As far as names how about "Max Power"? I got it off a hairdryer.

I'm buying this classic...
Communist countries in eastern europe outlawed convertibles back in the day. Too unsafe in a rollover. I think it's safe to say not one hardtop was ever manufactured in Russia EVER. Love the AMC door handles on the new GAZ.
