  1. Ash Gold 1968 Camaro. This is how my Camaro left the factory. Except it had a 327 and no SS stripe. Sorry to be a wet blanket Turbo but if you're going to post Hardtops all the windows have to be DOWN for the full effect. The two '69s were photographed wiht the rear windows up. :( :P
  2. I'm out of my mind as all you know but I like it. It's loud and obnoxious but somehow kind of cool at the same time. :P
  3. I have a personal story that would break your heart. It makes me sick ot my stomach every time I think about it. :(
  4. Cool, sounds good. Ask WildManJoe about how we've done. He sent me a TON of GM car ads from the 60s, 70s & 80s. a very interesting dealer promo plate (two actually) and several Minn. License plates. In return I sent him license plates from a few different states & a ton of dealer promo plates. :)
  5. Well I think the 300 looks awsome, I agree that the name would have made more sense if they had gone with "A" but in either case this whole N thing is bullshit. (no offense) I mean "F" that... I once knew this real B1tch who was the typical "C" word if you know what I'm saying. I love my "T-&A" though know what I mean "G"? Maybe we can just use the Hawaian alphabet. I think they only have 12 letters IIRC.
  6. A 1997 Z28 may not be super rare but it IS a future classic!
  7. Balthazar hooked me up with this one. Although I added my own touch... highlight the "blank space" under the sig. ----------------- FWD sucks -------------------- thanks Balthazar
  8. First off I highly doubt it. GM has a track record of always rounding down. They under-promise and over-deliver. Which is what any decent self respecting manufacturer should do. Just in the past decade there has been like a half dozen times that GM cars were dynoed and they turned out to be more powerful than advertised. Esp. the F-body and Corvette. Even crate motors. My crate 350 motor should be producing exactly 377 wiht the setup I have. And yet even with the 20K or whatever miles it has on it, 14 years of abuse and beat up headers taht restrict flow it still outpreforms it's ratings. GRanted I've never had it dynoed but when old time dragracers ask you if you've got 400+ HP then I think it's safe to say it's more than 377. Second, that'snot the point. The point is the HP shoulnd't be rounded up. Esp. when that manufacturere has had to adjust their HP because according to SAE it was exagerated already. <_<
  9. As most of you already know there's a 1979 Coupe DeVille sitting in my driveway right now. It has only 73K original miles and came from the factory painted firethorn red wiht a white half top and bright white leahter interior. Last year for the 425 (7 liters) Last year for the W I D E styling and sloped rear window Last year for HIgh-beam floor switch The knid of car that they write songs about, and the kind of car people remember 50 years later as on e of the cool ones. :) Gotta hit the sack now... exhausted form the holiday
  10. I guess so... taht chunky little grille suff of chrome doesn't aid cooling well enough.
  11. I'd like to see a '60 Edsel Corsair photographed in front of it's namesake: I know it was too litle too late by 1960 but these Edsels are actually nice imo.
  12. Save those for the 2dr hardtop thread. :P This one was just for 4-doors. Speaking ofd which you're absolutely right... the '03 SS should hae been posted in this thread a long time ago. :)
  13. Wow! I too love those taxidermied Deer. B) Here's our tree... Better late than never, right? It's a live tree BTW: $35 at the local farm stand/tree farm. I brought it home strapped to the roof of the '79 Caddy. First time the car got driven since the huge Blizzard. Here's the house after the storm but before I got done with the outside Christmas lights... hence the ladder. And finally... inside & outside all done. :)
  14. Stick around... you're much more fun that some of these party-poopers who can't appreciate the classics.
  15. Excellent point. This has to be a serious chunk of change. I'd love to live "off the grid". Just have some nice buit not extravagant house up in the woods of Vermont or Maine. Own 170 acres and a warehouse full of used cars. I'd have to have the internet though... :P
  16. all the more reason to drive a flat-blue beater '68 Camaro. I'd let a hot chick sit on my hood or whatever.... whenever and every which way possible. :D As soon as I can find a loving home for this Camaro so it can get the restoration she so needs, I'll be rollin' in one of these:
  17. Wow Harley thanks for the post. Although I do not agree wiht certain French politics France and Sloavakia have had good relations in the past. Too bad the product being built will not be something really excitng like RUF Porsches or Opel Speedsters.
  18. Somewhere in my millions of photos of cars from local car shows I have a pic of one of those. 1949 Thunderbirds as I call them. Yes definatelly based off of an '89-97 T-bird. I also saw a 1989-up Pontiac Grand Prix based 50s car once.... I want to say that had a '53 Pontiac nose and ass.
  19. I like it... it gives it a utilitarian and almost military look. Check it out: Razor: Thanks for sharing. I'd love to get a ride in that rig. I almost prefer a truck to be a bit rough and dented. Better than owning a $50,000 SUV and never even getting the mud guards dirty.
  20. Toni: Yes, I was going to try to say some thing to that extent but you know BV would get his panties all in a bunch. Honestly even I think in order to deserve the Fiero name it HAS to have an engine mounted BEHIND the driver. Rear or Rear-MId engined.
  21. What year and model is your Razor? Pics would be awsome. :)
  22. Man 1959 was such a cool year... not just for cars but for trucks too. :)
  23. You and Balthazar both said it first but I've been thinkning this myself the past two days. Just like Ford to have an A+++ idea but dumb it down to a B+ for production without any rhyme or reason. Anyway here's some more family friendly hardtops:
  24. Thought this was a neat find. Especially for a 4th gen Camaro fan. http://www.af.mil/news/story.asp?storyID=123009869
