Boneheaded design elements
Marcia once told me to "shut the F up cause no one cares" about thisEXACT point one day in traffic. It's so god-danged backwards it makes my brain beeld just at the thought of it. WMJ: I love the angry Silverado. I actaully love it. But then again here's my 1st and 5th choice for my next classic car:

4 door jeep wrangler spied
Here's an idea hat is only about 50 years overdue. I was drawing 4dr LW Wranglers back in H.S. in the mid 90s. Does this mean the Liberty is dead? I hope so!

Chevy Biscayne
I'd love to have a car from this period, almost any car from this period wiht a manula trans. & shifter on the floor!

Special edition FJ Cruiser on its way
Gross. I like the old ones but I wouldn't be caught dead in this monstrosity. As far as serious off roading wtf is the point of a wicked long wheelbase that makes serious 4-wheeling impossible if there's only two doors? Yes, yes I know it's got the suicide rear doors but do you think this will actaully take away from HUmmer sales. Uh, oh yeah I just relised it has a Toyota emblem attached to it so of course it wil sell.

All the better to see the road/sky/meteor shower with. :D

First Drive: 2007 Toyota Yaris
so you mean "cheap" in the slutty sense, right. :P I also think it's great that Hyundai and Toyota are sharing styling themes these days.

For Camino
This ElCamino speaks to me. I could definately imagine myself cruising in this purple beast. And perhaps B&BL can give us an update on how Camino is doing these days. I have not seen him around in a while either. :( http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...mMakeTrack=true

Just Who Is The #1 Automaker In The World?
Somehow I'm not so optomistic... to some of the retards in the media Toyota is already #1 and it does not stop them from proclaiming every damn Lexus form being the best thing since the disposable tampon. <_<

The Signature/Avatar Test Thread
The funny thing is that our cats Tony and Puma are exactly like that. Tony is a big fat old male shaped like a pear when he sits and Puma is the rambunksious (sp.?) younger tuxedo male. That's exactly like something that they would to except Puma does not "mime" as well. Meantime I thought since I've had my 1961 Caddy sig up for 36 hours it's time of something new.

Gemballa Avalanche
My knee jerk reaction to the title was they went from tuning slant nose Porsches to Chevy BOF trucks!?

Death of a forum?
too bad... other than Nissan/Infiniti Subaru was the only other Japanese car manufacturer I was a fan of. :(

Holy Sh*t!
Check out "BWTM" in this week's issue of Autoweek. They have a photo of this exact same machine. I guess coolant flows through the hollow handlebars to keep your hands toasty. Sweet! The one featured is powered by a 412hp Chevy BB.

Tops & Bottoms
I'm not the type to lease, but even if I was when it comes to a Solstice I'd buy. I don't thidnk the Solstice is the type of car you get bored wiht quickly. :)

looks like good stuff.... expensive but a good value nonetheless.

Chargers
Balthazar: LOL :metal: :D When it's a hideous and useless Honda Ridgeline they look for the sliver lining... but when it's a fantascit German/American product blend with a wining formula all they can do is point out the flaws... so predictable and yet sickening.

First Drive: 2007 Toyota Yaris
LOL :P  BTW: WTF is up with the 7"x1" vent style window? What a POS afterthought. Did they desing this thing when they were druunk, stoned or both. The little mini-pilar is right in the way of the side view mirrors too.

First Drive: 2007 Toyota Yaris
What a grotesque interior. THe fake-brushed aluminunm does nothing to make up for the balnd, gross spartan interior. :puke: Yeah and it goes without saying that the exterior is about as handsome as a botched abortion echo.

Special edition FJ Cruiser on its way
If it looks anything like that powder blue concept than I hope it bombs like the Suzuki X90. This pimple of a toyota truck is GROSS!!! Fatest c-pillar ever. No sense of design, no continuity or even a desing direction, busier than an Alaskan Beaver and not even utilitarian to boot.

Word is that the Monte might....
I know GM does not have the consumer base and astronomical sales it had once... but room for two RWD 2-door cars outside the Vette? I think there's plenty. 1970 -Corvette -Camaro -Nova -Vega -Chevelle -Monte Carlo -Impala -Caprice That's EIGHT cars with RWD and offering a 2dr model. The world has no changed so much that a 2008 Chevy lineup could not look like this: -Corvette -Camaro -Monte Carlo ------- OR -------- -Corvette -Camaro -Chevelle The Camaro is a sports-coupe, a GT or ot us purists a mucle car. A full size MOnte Carlo or Chevelle would be about luxury and a nice roomy cabin first and performance second. The way to win back sales numbers is to offer more peoduct not less!

Consumer Reports
I think CR is an insult to journalism. Blatant & unsubstantiated BULL$HIT!

BMW hybrid... steam engine?
Wow, great read. My dad has ben saying for almost a decade that we wil come full circle and one way or another water will power a car... weather by hydrogen or more traditional steam. He's got uncanny forsight sometimes.

Camaro rumors circa 1986
Let's NOT. Just the thought of it makes me dry-heave. If the F-bodys had gone FWD I might not even be a Camaro fan at all today. A FWD Camaro or Firebird is the equivelat of a 20 foot stretch limo version of a 1961 Austin Mini. Wrong, useless, ugly, retarded, sacriligious, distrubing and a waste of both human effort & metal.

Volkswagen Passat
The title of this thread gives me a migrane. I wholeheartedly agree with Balthazar... this is just stupidity at its most insulting.
