Good names, bad cars
80s.... definately 80s. Although the 70s ones were not exactly all that worthwile either, RWD nonwithstanding.

Alcohol
Camping Trip 1999. I tripped & almost fell into a huge campfire up at Old Orchard Maine after downing a half of a 1 liter bottle of Absolut. Then in the middle of the night I walked right smack into a tree while trying to not trip on the tent poles. ONe of just many reasons why I do not drink to massive excess often.

Rural or Urban?
Sure, whatever you want. If you or Caprice rolled/totalled one I'd just ask you if you were okay yell out "parts car" and toss you the keys to another one. B)

Rural or Urban?
I'd have to live in a hick town if I had money.... I've already got it all planned out.... a One mile "circuit" with like 20 Solstices. Invite a bunch of buddies over (some of you among them) and go racing in equal cars to keep it fair... every Solstice would be stock with the exception of a LS7/6-spd-manual. :D Can't do that in the 'Burbs or city.

Rural or Urban?
Rural: Give me a old farmhouse with a big barn (garage/hot rod shop) and lots of private acres (car storage) in a small town with nice spread out neighbors (no bitching about my cars & noise fropm the shop) :)

Dodge says upcoming Caliber won't compete with...
The Neon SRT4 was a car I actually liked, now it's dead... too bad. It was a bargain. :(

Last Gen Cutlass Supreme
Although I don't hate the FWD Cutlass Supremes it does pale in comparison with the old school RWD BOF ones.

Food You Just Cannot Tolerate
Oh, and Sushi... YUM!!! :) There's an awsome Chineseee/Japanese restaurant close by that is reasonably priced but Five stars in quality. They have this stuff called Dragon Sushi... some exotic fish that tastes awsome.

Food You Just Cannot Tolerate
Chris: Ever heard of that sissy girlie drink called a Sombrero? Love em... sad to admit. It's just Kalhua & Milk. A white Russian is just that plus vodka. Stace: Love the McFish as well.... did you know it's statistically been proven that they sell a much higher number of them on days it rains? Weird but true.

The 1995 Grand Am GT 5spd
Go to a "do it yourself" carwash. Drive into a puddle wiht only the front wheels and yank hard on the e/p-brake. Bring it up to 3000 RPM (or more if you hate your car) and drop the clutch and watch the smoke start to build. If you want to cheat even more.... pour Bleach on the tires... smells nasty but makes sick clouds of smoke. For the record I've never used bleach on the Camaro.... I did at the Burnout contest with my '83 Firebird.

Honda doesn't have a large history of building trucks PERIOD! Unless you call these pickups.- People From C&G You Want To Meet
Yup, that was awsome... what are the chances that you'd be in New Hampshire the DAY of the race. Twilight Zone in a cool way. I'm so pissed we didnt' shoot a real quick photo of the thre opf us next to the CoupeDeville in the parking lot. Stupid, Stupid... shoulda, coulda, woulda. :( I'll just have to drive down to Penn sometime soon and meet up wiht all you PA C&Gers. Yes, even you BlackViper as long as you don't buy a Honda. J/K. :AH-HA_wink: And yes, it was cool meeting up with BBL and BatmanV-dub.- Hindsight's a Bitch...
Thanks FoG. Winning your respect makes it all worthwile. Just the whole process of half dissmanteling an '83 Volvo is it's own reward. I agree 100% about NASCAR. Nothing like it used ot be. IN the 50s and 60s it was awsome, then in the 70s it got a little less cool but it was still a fun motorsport but the 80s and 90s turned NASCAR into a lame spectacle IMHO. Taurus, FWD Monte and Lumina shaped fiberglass over a tube chassis race car with RWD and pushrod power? It's about as lame as a Pro-Street CRX wiht the M/Ts in the FRONT wheel wells. I'll post some more funny pics. later.- What is this?
Wow, Big Brother at work. You can even see my Coupe DeVille in the driveway if you look real hard. :P - Classic Hybrid
